It's very simple, Nintendo paid for it.
True.
It's very simple, Nintendo paid for it.
There's a difference between competing against real players and playing a game that is programmed to let you win.Or some people just don't like MP games and don't pay online subscriptions.
I'm not saying I'm "great" games but managed beat and platinum game like Sekiro so I would say I'm least decent at games but I just don't enjoy multiplayer.
I having some Bayonetta 2 vibes again…It's very simple, Nintendo paid for it.
If FromSoft spends years building a multiplayer experiment most of its fanbase didn't ask for, yeah, that's wasted potentialThe game was designed as a MP, and looks like they showed the game to others companies, if this game is going to exist is thanks to Nintendo and i am glad that we are going to receive a new IP for Fromsoft, some of you are negative with everything these days… A least wait until you see some gameplay.
We don't know anything from the game yet, the game could end up being good, i trust in Fromsoft (Miyazaki)… And looking by the success of some PvE games lately i think was a good choice, and with the growth of Fromsoft, they are going to continue making great single players IPs alongside this game without any issue. If FromSoft spends years building a multiplayer experiment most of its fanbase didn't ask for, yeah, that's wasted potential
You can clap because a game exists. I'd rather want it to be something worth existing
If your bar is 'it exists so be happy,' cool, but some of us expect more from peak-tier devs than 'it's better than nothing.'
You really like to see the world in flamesI hope Miyazaki can finish the games development as soon as possible so that after this he can focus on Blood borne 2![]()
If this game ends up receiving great scores like Bayonetta 2, i expect some meltdowns here by just reading some comments… This is a new IP, i don't get the negativity.
I was around in the Bayonetta 2 reveal… I have experience
I still can't believe this will be their next major project. Will they make a real game again? Or did them and Bamco make so much money with this multiplayer slop that they can't go back? Truly dark times we're in. I'm trying to finish some of my sinlge player backlog then I'm firing up a modded Minecraft server again. I can't handle the disappointment that newer releases are giving me.
Fromsoft can develop various games simultaneously… Some people think that they can make just one game at timeI still can't believe this will be their next major project.
There has been rumors for long time that the next Souls game is set with a deep ocean theme. Hopefully they will reveal their next single player soon (if not at TGA)
Sounds like a perfect BB sequel by being right up Lovecraft alley. As above, so below. Cthulhu, etc..I still can't believe this will be their next major project.

Yeah, they can definitely multi-project. But what really matters is which one Miyazaki is directing, like the cases for DS2 and BB.Fromsoft can develop various games simultaneously… Some people think that they can make just one game at time. Nintendo is paying for the development, they probably hired an entire team for this game.
I got 200 hours in MHRise on Switch playing via WiFi and I never once had a game disconnect, lag, or get a network error.Multiplayer on switch

Except for Mario Kart.
He can direct multiple projects also…Yeah, they can definitely multi-project. But what really matters is which one Miyazaki is directing, like the cases for DS2 and BB.
If FROM was interested making Bloodborne 2 they would have done by same they did with Darks Souls sequels.I hope this is a case of Nintendo funding research and development that will really be put to good use in Bloodborne 2.
Don't think he has ever done that before. We'll see.He also can direct multiple projects…
I am pretty sure that we are going to see another Miyazaki game reveal soon…Don't think he has ever done that before. We'll see.

They moved on from Bloodborne.
OR the game took to much time/effort and being a Sony IP that they cant copy and paste assets like they did with Darksouls from the last two decades, so they moved from the game.If FROM was interested making Bloodborne 2 they would have done by same they did with Darks Souls sequels.

I think that IP is owned by Sony.If FROM was interested making Bloodborne 2 they would have done by same they did with Darks Souls sequels.
They moved on from Bloodborne.
If that was the case then they wouldn't make Sekiro or Armored Core VI which none them use reuse assets from Dark Souls.OR the game took to much time/effort and being a Sony IP that they cant copy and paste assets like they did with Darksouls from the last two decades, so they moved from the game.
This is the only reason to move on from a pile of money like this.
Looks like they pitched the project to a various publisher, I am pretty sure that Sony was the first on the list… Due to the similarities with Bloodborne and Miyazaki as director is not crazy to think that this project started under the Bloodborne name.I still find it wild that Sony invested hundreds of millions in fromsoft over the last few years, and all that seems to have come of it is a Nintendo exclusive…it's freaking weird.
I kind agree but to be honest Bloodborne level design and level of detail is above these two by a lot and the share ammount of assets top those two combined imo.If that was the case then they wouldn't make Sekiro or Armored Core VI which none them use reuse assets from Dark Souls.
I personally LOOOVE Boodborne but you cant really compare level design between these games because both Sekiro and Armored Core vastly different games than Bloodborne.I kind agree but to be honest Bloodborne level design and level of detail is above these two by a lot and the share ammount of assets top those two combined imo.
I know, i was just trying to say that the effort, time and money to put into a Bloodborne like would be huge, since these games you mentioned are more action focused and "linear"I personally LOOOVE Boodborne but you cant really compare level design between these games because both Sekiro and Armored Core vastly different games than Bloodborne.
Amored Core mission based mecha game while Sekiro FROM's take on action game not trying to be RPG like Souls games.
