How many mice do you need?so why only on one controller?

Both controllers will have the functionality. Would be very strange if you had to reach for the right JoyCon in order to just activate mice mode on the left. Why not?
Bro. Please have some trust in Nintendo. They always do what's right for the consumer. Both controllers will have the functionality. Would be very strange if you had to reach for the right JoyCon in order to just activate mice mode on the left.
Darn, genius move. If an old Switch can do it then so could a Switch 2 or a Switch 2 Lite.In a new video shared today, eXstas1s, who proved to be an overall reliable insider in the past, revealed that, according to their sources, the C button will be used, among other things, to connect the Nintendo Switch 2 to an original Switch console to use it as a controller or an additional screen, essentially turning the previous generation console into something akin to the Wii U GamePad.

Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con Controller C Button Will Allow System to Connect to the Original Switch to Use as Second Screen - Rumor
The mysterious C button on the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con controller will allow the console to connect to an original Switch and use it as a second screen.wccftech.com
Maybe they'll give us the opportunity to buy a "Left JoyCon: C-Button Edition" controller for only $59.99.Bro. Please have some trust in Nintendo. They always do what's right for the consumer.
They can't even make a gamepad with analogue triggers.Maybe they'll give us the opportunity to buy a "Left JoyCon: C-Button Edition" controller for only $59.99.

That's such a strange omission, at least on the "Pro" controllers. They can't even make a gamepad with analogue triggers.
Yeah it's really retarded. No serious racing game will come to their platform because of it. It's utterly retarded. That's such a strange omission, at least on the "Pro" controllers.

I don't really think it's about accessibility for left or right handed people specifically. What you've got is essentially a laser pointer that can detect depth etc. and I think that'll be used in more ways than just having a "mouse mode".I can't even remember the last time I saw a left handed mouse. Why would Nintendo include one for it's latest forgettable gimmick?

The next Mario Party will have mini games around stuff like that for sure, for example, where each player will likely be able to play with a single JoyCon per player.
Or the next Labo Set, if that ever happens.
I think there'll be reasons outside of "mouse mode"/having a cursor to activate it.
Yeah, or when you're three people with 2 left controllers and one right controller, then the button would have to activate all three. The C button could just as easily activate mouse mode on both controllers simultaneously, but that wouldn't solve the problem when of having more than 2 people playing Mario Party locally.
WiiU portsmeh. don't see a use case for this but happy for those who do.
It can great for minigames, the idea is good. It's a cool idea but I feel this will not be fully utilized by the third party devs. It seems like too much work for something that you don't know how many people will/can use.
Wii U I can see, but DS/3DS would not be the same experience with so much distance between the touchscreen and the main screen. Better to stick both on the Switch screens.WiiU ports
3DS an DS Virtual Console
Imagine for a moment, that you hooked them up as consoles and you don't always play in handheld mode.A handheld streamer for your

It's the "cursor" button that activates mouse mode.
Not selling your Switch Oled is reason #1 to make this a thing.meh. don't see a use case for this but happy for those who do.
It's so dumb it's probably true.
Convinced that "one gimmick per console" is written in Nintendo's constitution or something.
Perhaps you intially link your Switch 1 and 2 together by using the C button to connect the 2 devices. No seriously. Someone explain to me how this will work. So you press the C button on your Switch 2, and it lets you connect to your Switch 1? And then you dock your Switch 2, and play games with your Switch 1, utilizing it as a Wii U-like second screen?
Am I missing something? Not only does this sound like the dumbest idea ever, it would only be useful for games that decide to optionally support dual screens, which I have to assume would be, what, less than 1%?
Someone please explain what I'm missing here. I truly don't get it.
Apparently Switch 2 was planned to have some custom live streaming and camera setups, but not sure if that panned out due to rising costs of HW + shouldering the cloud pricing.
Yes you didAt one point in 2022-2023 Nintendo was taking bids and testing custom local and network video delivery solutions/software. It'll be interesting to see if and how that comes into the final software.
