Yeah I see the similarities with James Turner's work. I'm also curious if the designer of Hawlucha also designed Rowlett's final evo. They have some similarities and themes.

Well obviously none of you liked Delphox so GF is just going back to what it knows best! Seriously though, I don't mind any of these and Rowlet looks the best. Fire/Fighting may be samey but I never really got people getting legitimately mad. It might not even be fighting.
The good thing here is that we may not need to wait that long to potentially disprove this since Corocoro will leak in about 2 days. Hopefully we get some decent info.

Not buying the starters. Game Freak isn't stupid enough to go Fire/Fighting again, are the... Goddammit.

I really like those starter evos and would love for them to be real, it'd probably be my favorite set of final evos since Gen IV. I also love the idea of dumping the standard "Beat the 8 gyms" story.
So even if I think this leak is super fishy, I would definitely be okay with it being real.
Also as for a snowman I wonder if it would evolve into a yeti.

They're about as busy as Emboar or Chesnaught.
Not any more so than Gen 3 and 6's starter evolutions.

Yeah the fact that Ash is shown in there would imply that it would be anime art if it's real. The Noivern art posted earlier doesn't look like Sugimori art either.

While Fire/Dark could work if the theme is that of a heel wrestler...it wouldn't if the inspiration model really is Tiger Mask like it seems since the character pretty much was a hero type who wouldn't fight unfairly and things like that.

Yep, l loved Infernape. Didn't like Emboar much though, too ugly . . .

If it's the supposed leaked design I'll like it too, and I'm very against the idea of them doing Fire Fighting again.
If the leak is real, I hope Nintendo/TPCi serves the same punishment Europe got for leaking XY a week prior. Else give everyone the same treatment, or don't give it at all. ORAS leaked 5 days before release date in NA and that was conveniently ignored. I still don't get why Europe has to wait to play the game when it's been shown that leaks can happen anywhere.

Any leakers who throw in false information are idiots who would be better off just keeping their mouths shut.
A thing that punches fire is one of the most basic cool ideas in history. So on some level in confuses me, the people who go "why would they do that"

So the concept art is more likely to be real huh? In that case my opinion on the final evo's is Popplio > Rowlet > Litten. I gotta have that Dolphin though so I might go with Rowlet.

Why would Game Freak take out gyms when it's been the core of the series? It's fake. You don't something as big as the gyms when its core to the franchise and makes the games so much fun
Gym Leaders have likely been replaced as Island Leaders, going by this rumor. So there would be 4 of them instead of 8.

Fire is not flawed in a such a way that only one type combination can actually be viable. I mean Volcarona somehow manages to be useful in competitive despite having a double SR weakness to stress about. You're telling me it's impossible for anything besides /Fighting to work out?
I mean if it truly was, it's a terrible argument, because Gamefreak has to ability to simply fix a problem with the Fire type if needed. They can remove 2 resistances from Steel just to have Aegislash not be unstoppable, but making one of the three primary types a bit better so they don't have to exhaust people with a typing that was already played out three gens ago is impossible?
There are seven fire starters. If Litten is Fire/Fighting then it will be the fourth Fire/Fighting starter. "Refreshing"
Pretty sure it'd either do nothing or make it 4x weak to its weaknesses.
So not anything good.

The more I read this the more I believe it. I guess I'll be patient and see how it turns out. The starters evos look pretty good and as long as Littens final evo is Fire/Dark, then it's fine.

I'm no fan of the delay for Europe, but this is a silly argument. Full retail copies leaking weeks ahead of release is a completely different thing to a few vague details.
