MAAG from Crossfire, XNC podcast who leaked news of XBox titles coming to rival platforms before news outlets in 2023 is Now breaking that all big AAA titles coming to PS5/PS5PRO

This would add credence to rumors of multiple studios within Xbox Games Studios who have PS5PRO Dev kits.

According to MAGG not confirmed PS5/PRO version for Gears:E-DAY being made alongside Xbox. Meaning possible day in date release.

Most likely all made up bullshit but maybe not? Anyhow. Take it with a truckload full of salt

If you’re going to completely abandon Xbox then please be fair to your customers and give some advance warning.
This is the best thing to happen to Xbox gamers in years because games don't sale much on Xbox so eventually the studios was going to put less & less into making games for Xbox but now they can put the effort into big Xbox games because they know they can make the money back from the added sales on PlayStation.

Not saying Xbox won't do it but this source is crap. The leaker is rated as tier 6 by r/gamingleaksandrumours, the lowest rating any leaker can get. Not to mention, he doesn't have any credible previous leaks.

Personally I feel Xbox is waiting to see the impact blops6 will have on gamepass and will decide their plans after that.

Also, even if they are already working on this ports, they will probably take time. Bethesda and Activision devs already know how to port games to ps5 so their ports are releasing soon, but Xbox devs will probably be new to it and as such will take longer.

Yeah, another XBOX console at this rate is pointless. I’m even doubting the success of a portable XBOX. Hey guys, want our new ultra-powerful next generation Series ZZ? Look at these shiny new games, graphics and timed exclusives!!! Nah, we know most of your exclusives are coming to PC, PS5 Pro and PS6 eventually, so why bother? Microsoft: “Why aren’t we selling consoles and XBOX games yet again?” “See, we told you good exclusives won’t sell consoles!!”

They are not going to abandone the current consoles. If they release these games on PS5 (or any other platform) it will not make the game less available on the XBSS/X. I think there has been enough rumors and speculation that I would not count on another traditional Xbox moving forward. Not to say they are abandoning consoles altogether but there have been some big hints dropped that they are looking into less traditional options.

Microsoft is the biggest game publisher in the world and they are going to put out their games everywhere. The console war is over and Microsoft isn’t trying to move hardware. They are trying to sell software.

People have to ask themselves why they should continue investing in this ecosystem if it has no future and what benefits there are to getting an xbox if you can just get a PS5 or Pro and safeguard your games in the future.

What Xbox gamers?

What would even be the reason to have a Xbox if Microsoft’s biggest titles would come to Playstation day 1? Stick placement on the controller? Lol

Everybody would jump ship. PS or PC.

And then Gamepass would close too because it’ll never come to Playstation and it won’t survive on just PC. The core fanbase are on Xbox, that’s the entry point. Kill Xbox, kill Gamepass.

So nah, let’s be honest here, this is a terrible strategy. And I would say that the first 4 titles that was already released on PS5 was the worst thing that could happen to Xbox. Even as late releases they instantly pop the exclusivity bubble and people start expecting everything to come and start moving away.

PS to PC ports is a similarly destructive strategy but there is still the cost barrier there at least. No matter what DF tries to say there is no $399 PC running PS games as well as PS5 Digital, so even with day 1 Steam releases it wouldn’t completely kill the PS platform.

But with Xbox to PS there is no barrier. Like at all. PS5 Digital is literally cheaper than Xbox Series X and will run everything as good, or better, and there is the Pro path if you want an upgrade, haptic will be better on PS as well.

And I don’t think they’ll do well as a publisher. When there is no first party or Gamepass hype they need to compete only on quality. And are Microsoft’s games good enough for that? Hmmm idk, maybe some, but not enough to keep 20-whatever studios open. Studios would close left and right.

I just wonder who’s to blame for these strategies. Is this new Xbox president Sarah Bond’s doing? It all started shortly after her promotion. Or is she just the fabricated fallguy here? put forward to take the blame when the platform dies while Phil Spencer is quietly pulling the strings from above?

Good point. I can see that if someone is moving to PlayStation. If they are moving to PC (or whatever the next Xbox is) I am sure they will carry over.
