I don't understand open discussion (black bar'd or not) in Game/Competition show threads whatsoever. It just doesn't need to be there. I've been on Survivor Sucks for a decade and a half (god is that weird to say) and on the Survivor thread here I always make sure to keep myself edited and to not talk about gameplay spoilers whatsoever.

Casting/Gameboard spoilers (they're doing Snatch game a week early!, for example) aren't an issue, but those are rarely relevant during a season.

Ok, I am starting to see the appeal of Max. That runway look was out of control. I really do hope that some more of her personality can come through. Maybe she's getting the late-bloomer edit. If I remember correctly, Jinkx was still just the weird "narcoleptic" one by episode three, and hadn't really stood out all that much.

Watch her videos on Vimeo and stuff... she gives LIFE. I really think she has the Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent to win, or at least become a huge fan favorite.

This season, though, sucks, a lot. I'm sticking with it, though, because I thought season 6 was weak in the beginning, but it got better. This season is a fucking mess, and not in a fun way. I can't stand watching a bunch of fishy queens act all ignorant about what is going on around them. There's a reason I live in Hell's Kitchen and not Chelsea, m'kay. Aint got time for that.

It was a bit like "Sharon winning the zombie challenge", but I guess there's more risk in cases like that... like when Juju totally flopped in her singing challenge. We haven't had anyone flop though in recent seasons when challenges are 'tailored' to queens.

That's true. And I guess if they even get just 'safe' on a challenge seemingly tailored to them, that indicates some things, too. But since Max did well in all of the challenges so far, the outcome seemed sort of obvious.

I just can't at Pearl's awkward fucking brilliance. Every single thing she did and said in that challenge made me laugh my ass off.

The best part is when Katya's talking and you just see Pearl awkward walking in the back and banging her head on a sign

Pearl was a derp during the whole challenge, LOL.

She walked into on set trees and bumped her head on all the sets...

When and if any of my favorites leave, I'm going to be so upset. (stark contrast to last season where I didn't really care for anyone after Milk left)

I'm going through tumble looking for specific gifs and the amount of photos mocking Jasmine's physical appearance is making me slightly uncomfortable. On the other hand, a good amount is making fun of her orange base in one shot, which I guess is fair game since Coco got the same treatment with the Nacho jokes.

... Or is it?

She was the one calling other people horse faced bitches to begin with, haha. If I were on reality TV (a popular show, anyway) , I think I may get caught up in the moment and say things without realizing that whatever I say can and will be used against me for years afterward. >_> I'm sure Phi Phi and Roxxxy regret what they did because they're probably still getting shit for it.

As much as they can say "EDITING!?@!?#!", you have to give them stuff to work with to craft story arcs so...

So, back to Miss Fame:

- She's not a good actor.

- She's not a good dancer.

- She's not a seamstress [Citation Needed].

Which brings us to lip-syncing: We know she loves nothing more than to look gorgeous&#8212; to the point where, as clocked by the judges, she's so afraid of compromising her look she doesn't like to gesture much.

Exhibit A: Show's how much the bitch doesn't like to open her mouth.

Exhibit B: Leaves me a little more hopeful.

Bottom line: The girl is not as flawless as her beauty, so I can see her being in the bottom soon. And if she goes against a thirsty queen, I'm not confident Ru will keep her.

Miss Fame probably will end up in Carmen Carrera positioning when it comes to elimination order. Perhaps even sooner?

The naivete she exhibited in response to Kennedy's untucked shade definitely positions her closer to the Carmen of this season.

Well by her look pre-show Miss Fame looked like the obvious winning candidate, but she's a bit of a wet fish in action.

I think some of them on the show said she doesn't work in clubs? I'm not sure what she does then, just does pics and online videos? I dunno but it would explain a lot as to why she's more appearance than action.

They're not gonna make her lip sync until the bitter end I feel. Same reason they avoided having Courtney Act or Bianca Del Rio lip sync until their guaranteed spot in the final three, because they're shitty lipsyncers. The producers always have a hand in the ranking because they want the queens with the most post-show potential to win, so they try not to punish them too much.

While I don't think that Fame is top 3 material (or, at least ,on the level of last season's top 3) but she could prove me wrong. She is a relatively big name though so I can see them keeping her until the top 4 ala Detox.

The thing is, Miss Fame isn't really even that big a name. Like, the ONLY thing she's done before this show, I think, is a few make-up tutorials on YouTube. And really just a few of them. But she doesn't perform, she doesn't really work clubs, she's not really a personality. If we're going by body of work before the show, Miss Fame is probably one of the least qualified queens they've let on the show. Well, other than her really fierce look.

Then again, she does know a lot of people who work at WOW, so not surprised she eventually got on.

Still, I pegged her as being one of the top girls this season just off the strength of her style. But so far she's been incredibly dull.

Since S4 Ru/producers care more about the substance rather than the surface.

The Pearl and Violet (who seems to be rocking Hanna-Barbera realness) faces are great; bitchy resting face is strong with this season.

Manila is a pretty good artist! I'm partial to queens who can draw; I wish Manila would set up a dedicated art blog or something.

Raja is even better than Manila IMO (watch Raja Drawja episodes), but Manila's fashion illustrations of all the looks she did on the show are pretty great. Manila worked at a graphic design firm or something until she took up drag full time. A lot of her stuff was at Barnes and Noble and Bed Bath and Beyond(ce).

I think the biggest thing she's done is Half-Drag which got into Vogue Italia and stuff. But quite a lot of queens were a part of that... Vivienne Pinay was in that series too, lol. I wonder what Miss Fame's audition tapes looked like.
