Interesting reading. This is precisely what Putin wants, to sow division in the west and cause mass hysteria with energy bills etc. he has successfully weaponised energy. We need to be prepared to pay high for a significant period of time. It’s a small price to pay to strangle Russia.

i dont think you quite understand how this war is being fought or how wars in the 21st century are fought, this isnt some Rome vs Germanic tribes with everyone on a single battlefield, these are all small mobile units spread along a massive front, Ukraine is huge and the front line is absolutely massive so its all small scale skirmishes right along it, some videos are uploaded some are not so as to not give away positions/numbers of men etc. The Ukrainians are being taught opsec from the very best in the business and what info is released is all vetted, Russia on the hand havent a fucking clue what they are at

I know this is ridiculous dramatised conspiracy theory bollocks for CoD's trailer but you can watch the real unedited interviews, Yuri Bezmenov was warning us about Russias antics and psyops a long time ago.

This war is only a small piece of the "active measures" they have been performing for years, primarily messing with the US election and cyber warfare in recent times, in that space they are EXTREMELY dangerous.

FFS they have been poisoning people in the streets of England and all over the planet, with no shits given, not one single shit. Why would they? We in the west continued to give them the Olympics, F1, McDonalds, Starbucks etc. etc. we have been embracing them for years, without actually seeing the real picture of what they have been up to. We have been lying to ourselves.

I am surprised they have failed so badly on the battlefield but I am very glad they have. But it makes me wonder how they can be so stupid, and if this is not really the end goal, they want to severely destabilise the entire planet, and they are almost provoking the west to get NATO involved and make us look like the aggressor.

I am surprised we have not seen more Cyber damage caused to the west, but maybe we have just not discovered it yet or something bigger is coming in that respect.

At least you have a house to heat, unlike the millions of Ukrainians who have no home, I am pretty well off, but energy prices are a concern of mine, if that's my only concern this winter, I will be a happy man.

There's a lot of noise and some inconclusive photos about the orcs pulling out of kharkiv altogether and creating a new defense line along the road kreminna-svatove and northwards.

More talk about Kherson, but I've only seen a photo from a town that was nearby the old? defense line.

Lemme put two videos which should be seen in succession to better illustrate your point. And I would urge anyone to really watch them, for to understand the whole response of the whole world to this. True the matter of this is that as lackluster is Russia on battlefield, they are scarily effective in general psy-op and I wasn't totally on board of Bezmenov prior to conflict, but now, I am 100% on board.

I don't know who and where you are, but most (AFAIK) of Europe has by now implemented energy subsidies to help people get through the ruzzian energy blackmail. In Norway f.ex. the subsidy for electricity is up to 90% of people's bills.

Anyway, Ukraine isn't some obscure country far far away just because we're used to not give a shit about them. We are giving Ukrainians weapons, and they are paying us back with their lives so that we don't have to. I think that's a pretty good deal... Because I mean, it's pretty safe to say by now that this will / wouldn't stop at Ukraine, this is ruzzia's ever-expanding imperialistic plans that would / will affect us all at some point in the near future on a much grander scale than "just" being worried about energy bills.

What do you think is going to happen? Will Russia seek out a ceasefire/peace plan. Starting a new cold war style stand off? The unimaginable use of nukes by Russia?

Ukraine surely can't push all the way to Moscow.

I don't understand why Putin hasn't been couped to death.

I think he’s doing moves to make the military pay the price. He just had the public face of the army on tv dress up in uniform and try to explain publicly what happened with 1.5 million uniforms.

Rybar and other milbloggers have been criticizing the army recently as well.

Many of them long for the "glory" days of the soviet union, remember they grew up with 1 political party, 1 news source, no descent, no internal proble
All the soviet unions problems could be covered up, the union breaks down, they can suddenly hear descent, bad news, problems, all came into existence they long for the fantasy world they had

You'd be surprised how effective these drones are. Cheap, reusable, and if well aimed, lethal. On top of that they represent a permanent, almost invisible threat - extremely demoralizing.

In communications intercepts the orcs often mention and describe the fucked up reality of the enemy being able to drop a grenade on your head anytime, any day, without warning.

BTW, photos of Kherson villages south of the frontline flying the blue and yellow have been surfacing, giving credence to the breakthrough rumors. Still unclear how far it's reaching and so on.

On the north, Russians are saying that Kreminna was a red herring and ukrainian trops are trying to envelop svatove - I don't feel there's enough info in the open to validate that statement, but who knows, opsec and all that.

If you care to count, the recently liberated territory in the north totals about 1200km2 or in imperial units 224428 football fields.
