I went through this during the Iraq/Afghan wars, YouTube and other sites that shall not be named were still in their infancy.
However with the advent of go-pros and smart phones, The amount of raw combat footage we get daily from world conflicts is staggering.
It truly is a interesting time to be alive.

It's why Ukraine is pushing them back to the border.
There's been loads of chatter on different telegram channels about how Ukraine is gathering a ton of equipment for a new counteroffensive in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Russia likely has their hand fulls with Kherson and the Northern front so they probably have a minimal number of forces down there. I think its only a matter of time before we see them get routed on yet another axis.

I feel like Pablo.waiting.gif for the next Ukrainian advance. We've been spoiled this past month with the 2 huge pushes in the NE and now the big southern push.
Unfortunately Ukraine properly took more than they expected and will have to completely clear out their new areas to make them safe. Plus build new logistics closer to the advanced frontline. There's probably also the welcome headache of removing all captured Russian equipment and vehicles to repair, salvage or scrap.
Very interested to see if they can take Svatove in Luhansk and the Dam in Kherson before winter. A push towards Melitopol would be welcome also. Hopefully they don't take more then a week more to consolidate. We want more!

There’s more worrying implications. If the west backs offs to nuclear threats he’s next going to test the waters of NATO using the same threats, probably by invading a Baltic State.
And at that point if whoever is president in America decides it’s not worth the risk, that’s the end of NATO.

True, but it showed weakness that Hitler exploited. If England, France, and the rest had presented a united front and they all said "No. We will not allow this. If you try it there will be war." If the that gauntlet had been thrown instead of meek appeasement and disunity then Hitler might have thought twice. Or at the very least delayed his plans. It's why he allowed things to continue at blistering pace. He knew they were not ready and that they were not unified enough to stop him. Chamberlain caving in and showing weakness confirmed all the suspicions that Hitler had over the strength and unity (or lack thereof) of the West. It was the signal to him that it was rather now when they were unprepared instead of later when they might be.
I understand though. No one wanted war. Such a decision would have been entirely unpopular across the board even though it was necessary at the time. But how do you expect the common man and woman to understand that?

No one wants nukes thrown around nor another world war to happen. It's not a question though of should they/should they not or they should do this/not do this or do that instead or whatever someone else's thoughts/opinion on the matter is. This is simply a question on one country's freedom in the face of an oppression/genocide. Period. Should today if Ukraine decides to give in to Russia and stop the war, I will accept it. Should today Russia launch a nuke(s) and Ukraine decides giving Russia a double fuck you and continues on, I will accept it.
I'm thrilled that Ukraine hasn't accepted tyranny in the face of the odds and no matter the stakes. They are a brave and intelligent people right now and deserve to fight as long as the aggression is howling on their doorstep. They have every right to say fuck Russia's insincere "peace" because it is still as of right now Ukraine's fight and Russia's fault. The history and stories looking back will see it as such.
Musk should drop the texting, stat charts, and board meetings to go read a book, see a movie, or take a stroll down a historical war sight. Not everything in life is about business, progress/growth, getting what we desire, or avoiding what we fear. I suggest something like Braveheart for him or anything from WW2. The only difference now is everything is more modern but that's not a difference that matters. So yeah, anyone that thinks its "nuclear war" or whatever "FUD" that's the stake right now is a coward.
