Putin is a monster, he is going to use trump and throw him when he is finish with him.
 
Clearly we are going to further sanction this rogue state that has invaded neighbors, funds terrorism, and posesses nuclear weapons... right?
 
The same Taliban that have been fighting the Soviets, and were then funded by the US?
I wonder how the Trump administration will justify ignoring this. I mean, kinda hard to get the Russians to help against "radical moose-lambs", when they are funding them.
 
Absolutely insane. Having deployed there and seen battlegrounds where the mujahideen fought off the soviets, this is just crazy. The soviets did terrible things to the people of Afghanistan.
 
Setting aside the cyclical nature of this. It's actually the best place to do something like this and remain effective as a harassment and deterrent against US interests. The Afghani national army is, to be blunt, a joke. It's a loose confederation of tribal states held together by strongmen warlorda that's in A worse long term situation than even Iraq because Bush so very badly botched the rebuilding efforts.

It's not a bad geopolitical move.

Russia has as much to lose as anyone with radical Islamic governments close by.

I get that they're trying to poke at NATO a bit but this could backfire pretty badly. Also, I'm shocked they found someone in the Taliban willing to listen to the Russians...that's like the US supporting the Viet Cong or something.
 
That's a fucking a disaster. Trump is supporting the government that supports Taliban who have killed thousands of American soldiers. I guess veterans are not important anymore? right? I just would love to see how the right will spin this.

So what we gotta do is let them retake Afghanistan and then fund Anti-Russia / Government forces!!! its win win really, buy Boeing!
 
Trump and the GOP are a joke. If there was any justice in this world, those traitors would never taste power ever again.

But of course there isn't so those pathetic weasels will be running the place for the next 8 years.

Putin has to be the happiest man on this planet right now knowing the US is being run by the one of the dumbest group of people in history.
