Marvel fans shouldn't expect to see a new "Deadpool" movie for at least five years, according to comic book creator Rob Liefeld.

I'm saying that the characters and a big chunk of the actors for this new wave are mostly trash compared to the phase 1&2 choices.

You can't assemble a new Avengers style cast as good as the original. RDJ was key to the success.

Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie are famous but you can't use the name alone. You need good writing, direction, storytelling, characters etc.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, between Days of Future Past changing the timeline and Deadpool 2's post credits showing DP killing lots of things (and interacting with Wolverine), it's safe to say Origins Deadpool is never ever coming back

Ryan is basically dead pool esque in every film he is in now. Even in real life.

Reals it it in to show self awareness. Change inflection of his voice

I agree, but everyone in that fictional world ALSO sees Deadpool as extremely annoying. When I viewed those films from that perspective, it improves the quality a bit.

Identity politics.
Nostalgia bait.
Overuse of CGI.
Over saturation of superhero stuff.

They don’t quite specify it, but logically, Logan had to be an alternate timeline from the main Fox X-men timeline anyway. At the end of Days of Future Past, the year is 2023 and there are plenty of mutant kids seen in the school. Logan is set in 2029 and it’s stated there have been no new mutants in 25 years due to the bad guys using food distribution to hide a mutant suppression drug (or something like that). So that would make it impossible for the Logan film to fit into the main timeline. Obviously there have been plenty of continuity errors in those films anyway, but a massive detail like “no new mutants period” is so big that it would be just idiotic to claim it‘s the same timeline.

So there’s really no reason to doubt that the main Fox timeline Wolverine is alive and well.

I'm keeping my expectations in check, but for the most part the Fox X-Men universe did try new things. Not saying they always succeeded, but I think they had higher highs and lower lows because they were willing to take chances with stuff like Deadpool, Logan, and New Mutants. So there is a glimmer of hope that Deadpool 3 isn't cookie-cutter MCU.
