Good deal for PC gamers. It's fun game in a very pretty package.
Windows. What else would it be?
Gameplay is on par with a forgettable movie game tie in from 8 years ago. Its $5 bargin bin material at best.
I'm curious why they would continue porting this when all their other projects are at stake.
Is there any word on operating systems?
GAF has got some serious Stockholm Syndrome.
i was at gamestop and saw in the flyer they had a halo mcc editon mouse for pc lol i hope it does.
Could this be a sign of Killer Instinct coming to PC maybe?
Crytek was supporting Mac and Linux with Homefront since now Cryengine runs on those platforms and I assume they want sales on those platforms and sell devs on their engine by shipping on as many platforms as possible.
Now people can stop hating on a damn good game.
Yeah, I really liked C1 and warhead, but I despised Crysis 2 and 3 (I only played a little bit of 3). The graphics of C2 and C3 weren't enough to keep me engaged. :/I found all the crysis games much more engaging than Ryse. Especially Crysis 1 and Warhead, but that goes without saying.
Really? Is there any more to this?

Why is MS doing this? Xbox one is just loosing exclusives.

It's a good showcase for CryEngine.

If more and more Xbox One exclusives start coming to PC, won't that sort of diminish the impact of the Xbox One platform? Good move either way, as it will be if Halo Master Chief Collection comes out on PC too.

What other formerly exclusive games have been announced for the PC? I'm not super interested in Ryse but I just got my first gaming capable PC a month ago and since I was never planning on getting a Xbone, news of ports are always welcome.
The XB1 is not selling poorly by any means. I think the great success of the PS4 makes its adoption rate seem worse than it is.If Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all declared bankruptcy tomorrow, there would still be more quality video games coming out than any of us could play. (I can understand people feeling protective of nintendo though I guess, nobody else is really making those types of games)
Plus, you know, keeping a game exclusive to a poor-selling platform only ensures that the actual people who make the games have less income to make more games.
I'm not this greedy, selfish 'consumer', though. I understand that businesses have to make money and am willing to be understanding. If everything was focused purely on what's 'good for the consumer', businesses couldn't prosper.More people can enjoy products if they are on multiple platforms. And giving consumers more options is always good for the consumer.

And no, I don't think Nintendo, Sony and MS going out of business would mean 'plenty' of games still at all. I think it would mean a very meagre amount of games compared to what we have now. Many of the big publishers rely heavily on console game sales, which make up the large majority of their sales. Take that away and there's no case for making more AAA games.

I heard this game is a QTE fest. Ugh.
Play on Hard and it's a lot more challenging and engaging. You can die pretty quickly if you mess up with the later enemies.
Its a shame they debuted the game the way they did, cuz this perspective definitely hasn't seemed to have gone away.I heard this game is a QTE fest. Ugh.
It's a game built for graphics above all else, so at least now it'll be on a platform that can do it justice in that department.
Still though... another Xbox One exclusive lost... the incentives to buy that console just seem to be chipping away as time goes on, and it isn't like it was a great deal to begin with.
Doesn't matter how high the resolution or framerate get, Ryse will still be a repetitive, corridor slashing chore of a game though. This isn't a title that'll sell because of it's gameplay.
Running out of reasons to buy a Bone.
I very strongly doubt that they're going to lose many sales due to a crap launch title getting a PC port.
