Its a turd but the original season is beloved for no real reason at all when the anime itself wasn't even that good starting off. Also I don't know its sometimes questionable what people in south america likes when it comes to anime.

What is that supposed to mean? I sure hope it is not not Imperialism what you are bringing into this argument.

fixed that for you ...

So basicaly it is sometimes questionable what anything that is not North America, Australia and Africa likes in anime, including the country that invented it.

Completly useless filler... watch the "previously on" that appears on 17 and you will loose nothing =P

17
Yay cameo !
The moment I saw the girl's eyebrows I knew who it was coming xD

Interesting to hear the part about Saints protecting people and how it affects then .. don't remember that info being said in the previous series.

Very good episode, bad ass to see Souma so BERSERK !
Awesome lightining and animation.

but ...

OMFG THE PREVIEW FOR NEXT WEEK !!!!!!!!

Ep 18
tumblr_m8b28uz2l71r1n5pqo1_250.gif

One of the top tier episodes of Omega so far. Was really disappointed in Sonia though. She actually is the second leading female character on the anime, before this episode but now, well definitely on Yunas level. (The Athena with them is the best female character)
She actually had good techinques and what not but to just forgo it all and instead try to rely on using Souma's rage against him, why?! Oh well at least it showed that even powered up he has such intense skills and powers, cant wait to see him later on, and if he doesnt stay away too long. Was really distressed there at the end when he was like, Ill follower her, and they were like all sad, and I was like no dont go, and he went on ahead.

I hope Dragon Ryuho, Eden, and Haruto get back in the plot, I miss them all.

Again double posting because sometimes it looks like i'm the only person here watching this xD

Awesome episode !
The second half had some awesome fanservice !

That last saint
that totaly looks like Hyoga... wonder if they will use AGAIN the "hyoga brainwashed" plotline
... HOLY Overpower !

And talking about overpower ... next episode FINALY is the
Eden centric episode ! And with the Thunder core ... so who guess what happens ? xD

Love to see that they don't have any more time for fillers !

Anyone knows how many episodes this season will have ?

I'm watching it too, I just can't find the thread lol. And thanks to you I knew I haven't watched 19. Will remedy this shortly.

There is only this one and a lonely thread with no replies about the oficial game of this series to PSP =P

Watched the last episodes that I was missing. Finally the Silver saints are getting more interesting designs, there were a couple of awful ones before.

So much fan service, not enough though.

i've watched all until episode 15: i'm enjoying a lot this one. It's 3 or 4 times better than lost canvas.

Also, i don't get the turd hate, sure it's a turd, but, have you guys seen the mayority of the newest animes? there's only like 1 exception everybunch of seasons, but c'mon, let-s be honest, the original saint seiya is also as crappy as this.

Don't look at it with nostalgia glasses, it's suppose to be FOR THE SONS/DAUGHTERS of the generation that watched the original one, so you can watch this with your sons/daughters... there's the fanservice for you (so you have something to talk about with the newcomer) and the cool story for the young'ns

Admit it. We are old.

I watched the latest episode
Why
isn't Shiryu the libra Saint!?
I was really dissapointed with that.
And why does the cloths, specially the gold cloths stay with saints that are no longer loyal to Athena or are on Mars side? normally they would stop protecting those saints, like with the Cancer saint in the original series.

the cloth chooses the person, and does not decide to abandon such owner unless he's eating babies or clubbing baby seals.

The spoiler is because he
lost the 5 senses and basicaly became a vegetable

The saints STILL believe they are protectiong athena, on the same way the gold saints believed when they foght the bronze saints.
Also, the cloths now work in a diferent way. Not sure about the Gold ones, since they don't have a gem ... but it is implyed that lot of the cloth rules changed when they were "evolved" to the gem/avatar/stardust system

Admit it. We are old.

I just want some blood =/

What even? lol.
Pretty hilarious if that had happened like that in episode
. Shiryu was actually good but I wish they gave more explanation for how he lost his sense or how all the other old saints weve seen these past 19 episods experienced these fates.
Sure this baddie said how he lost his eyes, but what about the other four senses?
. I liked that Ryuho got a chance to shine too. Solid episode.

One thing
Genbu seems like some relative of Souma or at least kind of looked like him of sorts, related? And this anime crew stays together for beans, always leaving

20

Just a reminder that episode 20 is an Umakoshi (1, 10) episode.

And it shows.

Best episode yet by FAR.

Didn't expected that ending ... the
opening spoiled me too much and I guesses that his redemption would be on that episode. Also it was glorious to see Kouga being so PWNED

Episode 12
OMG Shun! I liked this episode quite a bit, even if it's a sort of B-team episode with some dodgy faces from time to time. The action was interesting, and omg Shun! *swooon* Good to see that they finally explained the backstory and the reason why there are crystals instead of clothes too.

Episode 14
Yawn. Yuna pandering fan fodder episode. Her backstory is kinda meh, and the entire story arc here was predictable. Pretty much a filler episode, but it does have some character development. I would rather have seen them flesh out more details about the war Yuna mentions. Oh well.

Episode 18
Oh look, this is the "big" Souma episode everyone was talking about! Except... I think it was honestly pretty bad. The comedy stuff didn't work for me, the art was pretty bad and sloppy, and 2/3 of the episode was filled with fucking offensive PS1 CG quality fire effects that stuck out like a sore thumb. They kept using it too. ALL OVER THE BACKGROUNDS. So awful. The actual fight was decent I suppose, but I really didn't enjoy this episode much.

Episode 19

I guess the entire ep11-20 arc is like a generic traditional RPG. 5 elemental cores, 5 temples ruins, excuses to travel the world and visit the home towns of each main character and so on. Really predictable stuff, kinda boring too. Oh and just when I thought I survived horrible PS1 CG quality fire effects, now I come face to face with PS1 CG quality water effects. Fuck Toei! Anyway, Shiryu!!! *swooooooon* The Libra Cloth stuff was pretty interesting, but otherwise this episode was mostly a bore too.

Episode 20
OMFG! THIS IS MORE LIKE IT! Great visuals. Great pacing. Tight editing. Striking camera work. Great shadows. Great art. Great character faces. Facial animation. Flower animation. Really nice contrast in scenes between Eden/Sonia/Mars and Koga/Yuna/Aria, great build up, great climax. I like how the direction was so good that they decided to forego the stock footage for transformation and just have the characters transform in realtime as they move. SOGOOD. Umakoshi! :bow

Did you skip an episode somehwere, I thought they had established that way before ep 19.

But 20 was good all except for
Kouga's loss, he was so powerful to take on silver saints but then lose to a fellow bronze saint? :(

Saw episodes 20-21 back to back.
(ep 21 spoiler)
I thought Hyoga was going to Aurora Execution Kouga, putting him on standby like Camus did to him during the first series, but I was disappointed...

From ep. 19 onwards, this series is starting to look interesting again. My interest is renewed.

tumblr_m9f7kjv1Vl1qfm2vzo2_500.png

Omg, the old saint in this episode was awesome. Can he come back (and at least reveal his name), definitely my favorite of the older ones so far, and that attack, so stunning.

Sonya is pretty awful now, but Eden, well that was emotional, I really hope he can fulfill Aria's wish and find some joy or happiness in his life, terrible that kindness is frowned upon in his family :(

Episode 21

Pretty good. I like how they followed up on the previous episode, and while the art and general production values were clearly lower, they did a good job of still delivering compelling scenes, and keeping the story going. I really like the contrast between Koga and Eden in the ep20 and 21. The cameo this episode was great too. Kinda sad to see all the original Saints sidelined by bullshit-plot-device-infection, but at least they show up from time to time. Lol.

22

The preview promised much more .... the backstory was interesting, but didn't changed much of the Haruto's character than what we knew except for the fact that now he will probably be much more featured in yaio fanarts =P

And ... omfg those were some ugly drawings this episode =P

BUT ... as it has become quite the norm for this series, after a "meh" episode, the preview for the next one got me VERY interested.
That cameo promise is SO awesome and SO unexpected =D
Probably my favorite non-main character !

Episode 22

Haha, that was such a Sunday morning cartoon episode. Literally. Lower production values, silly ridiculous "fights", character back story which is so naive and simplistic, complete with a moral at the end. Lol. It wasn't offensive, but boy, I'm glad we're getting back to the "good stuff" in the next episode, story-wise. Hopefully art and animation-wise too.

Episode 22 was cringeworthy. I wanted to skip it since I cannot stand Haruto but meh, might as well watch it and damn, it was worse than I expected. The artwork made me cringe and the plot was dreadful, plus HARUTO. Ew. Worst episode.

If you say it really, really fast while drunk, Haruto sounds kinda like... Naruto!!!!

23

Very interesting fight and good to see everyone togheter =D

Also, kinda hilarious to see how much
Jabu loves horses, considering how he was Athena's horse when he was a child xD

24

VERY good episode !
Lots of good fights !

Also, maskless Shina looks like Shun after he comes out of the closet as trans =P

25

Mixed episode ... Yuna and Okami Saint was meh .. but I could see an entire show of SD saints fighting xD

26

Good to see the backstory .. and BLOOD !!!!

And yes, 27 looks to be drawn in the style of bad fanarts =/
"And in this episode, Eden and his poligonal eyes gets atacked by the fearfull ONE EYED SAINTS !!!"

Watched episode 23. Best episode so far: Soma + better animation and drawing quality. It was a good episode, plus Jabu!

This show should be all about him (with Yuna as a sidekick):

Fighting Hornet Sonia constantly.

This was so good:

I really like this show's music.

Episode 26 reconfirmed my idea that this spin-off should be about Soma and Sonia. I want more of them!

About the ending, it was hinted already, so it didn't come as a surprise.

That said, I can't wait to see episode 27.

Ep 27
Aria proved that she is the most awesome female character in the anime and went out fairly well. I loved how she took control of the situation from essentially start to finish this episode, doing things of her own volition and even with everyone else down stood her ground to retailiate against Mars. Perhaps it was because of this that when that bar was thrown and sent straight through her and all that blood came out that I realized it was a fatal hit and couldnt resist not tearing up. She had lots of moments throughout the anime and to be offed at just 27 episodes is tragic. :( I cant :( Aria has secrued her spot on the most memorable female characters of the year chart for me

Episode had nice action and I have really no complaints for anything, excellent episode A for effort.
So close to defeating Mars, I cant wait for him to be defeated, and Eden, Eden must defect immediately

Watched episode 27. Didn't see that coming, but I don't think this episode was THAT great (because of Platy and Dedication Through Light posts, I was expecting something WAY bigger or exciting).
