Regulus Tera
Romanes Eunt Domus
I liked the episode. Bros being bros.[/shrugs]
Why were people saying this episode was like classic Saint Seiya? Meh. Very meh. I'm getting tired of this and Loopawn.
Bros sacrificing for one another must be reminding people of the 12 zodiac temples arc.
I particularly did not like the episode, it was completely predictable. Plus I hate these generic forests that somehow always manage to look the same in any anime they appear.
Episode 5
Worst episode yet. Typical shounen environment challenge crap with lessons of friendship and shit. But that's not what made me go insane. It was the eyes. The eyes of DOOM. This is the worst character art in an episode of anime I've seen this season so far. All the characters had huge eyes and static expressions for the entire episode. Yuna was the worst. She had the largest eyes they could draw on her face, and it was totally static. She didn't blink or move her eyes once. It was like watching a zombie anime. Scene after scene of the SAME dead expression with no eye movement or animation or blinking. There were quite a few of these scenes too where they would close up on her face and she would talk for long enough that it becomes very noticeable that the eyes are dead. Maybe they should have kept her mask on if they were going to do this shit.![]()
I want BLOOD !!!!
This is just another Precure season that happens to be named Saint Seiya. Blood in significant quantities like old SS is not happening.
Here i though I was the only one creeped out by umakoshi eyes
I don't why everyone has two triangles on the right hand side and a circle on the top left of there eyes.
The anime of today is made for wusses. OG Seiya started with the main character chopping off an ear. Like a bawse.
There's still plenty of bloody anime like Zetman these days. This just doesn't happen to be one of them unfortunately.
Zetman airs after midnight; SS Omega airs right before Kamen Rider and Precure.
this thread has so much hate for an OT ... needs more ... FANART !
Why are you expecting blood?
And yeah, this is a 50ish episode Toei series, expect a fair amount of episodes with offmodel art.

Well ... armors aren't THAT important to me to the series ... but still =P
Also, anyone found strange that was like "OMFG THE ONE I CARED WAS PULVERIZED !!!!" and then ... lets go to school and don't worry and wait till appears a tourney and stuff ?
I mean .. how about the villain ?
He just took a vacation ?
If I was him the moment I knew that there was a chance of someone I miss being at a place, I would RUSH to that place in 4 seconds =P
Why can't more episodes be like ep 3? :/
Ep 6 was a very low low.

So I've been watching lost canvas because all the good Gold Saints fights, I am not convinced but I find the story ok, I have a problem how the mouths and lips are drawn, I dunno I find them somehow wierd, I still prefer the original Saint Seiya; anyways now I find out that Lost Canvas is not canon and Saint Seiya Omega is not canon either and that Kurumada has a manga with the real continuation and official canon after the Hades Chapter that is called "Saint Seiya Next Dimesion" WTF!
I didn't know Saint Seiya had all this "what if's" and alternate stories animated but the real real canon and continuation of Hades done by the man himself hasn't been animated.
da fuck, is there any place I can buy the Saint Seiya next dimension mangas in English? any plans of animating this?
Are you sure Lost Canvas isn't canon? I mean yeah, it's by a different author, but Kurumada sent her a general outline of the plot.
Also, the Hades arc wasn't the last one in the original series. There was one more that was only partially animated in a movie called Heaven Chapter - Overture.

There was a very short promotional manga.that movie never had a manga
Apparently, Kurumada's original idea got modified quite a bit, and he wasn't exactly thrilled with the end result.I think it was Kurumada's original story and what he had in mind back in the day to continue the canon Saint Seiya story, however I don't know why he (or the studio) didn't want to continue that arc and since it didn't have a manga on what was based on I don't really know how to treat it.
Next Dimension supposedly retcons this movie. But Saint Seiya canon is a huge mess IMO.
Definitely better than 6 (not hard to accomplish) but, really, they should just have made the show about Yuna. ( ´_ゝ`)
Episode 7
her transformation sequence is the worst of the bunch, what kind of pose was that.

Agree that ep7 > ep6, but I keep thinking that this show needs some sakuga fights like naruto. It would be awesome it it sudendly doubles the animation quality, but also brings blood, at least for just a moment. Now that will be something.
