I have a dual shock but I done nothing to require a fine and I refuse to pick it up. :|

to me the biggest issue with L2/R2 firing is when you have to hold the triggers all the way or most of the way down ala The Club or GTAIV...then yeah, they're distracting
Games like Army of Two, Turok, or Saint's Row2 though...you just slightly tap the tops of the "triggers" and there's a response...so no worries about discomfort, fingers sliding off, etc...

good to hear....and yeah, trust me, I used to be one of the bigger haters on GAF when it came to the SIXAXIS triggers...then I got a Dualshock3 and got accustomed to placing the triggers between the two fleshy bits of your finger, right underneath your knuckle

Yep, it's mandatory, but oh so worth it. Probably about 3 GB.

Put in about three hours so far and I've explored a bit of the city, done a sewerage and mayhem mission, and done two story missions. It's fun as expected, but the helicopter controls are a let down after GTA IV. In fact every vehicle feels second rate compared to GTA IV in terms of inertia and feeling right. Even last gen GTA games had better controlling choppers. Also, the LOD system is glaringly apparent in aircraft and reminds me greatly of last gen GTA games.

Saying that, I've had a lot more fun because there's a lot more variety in the "just mucking around" department. Tossing grannies into the front of moving vehicles never gets old

I would love to get to play castle crashers... I'm a one console gamer, sadly.
But no, I think it's swell they had a patch ready, but it's annoying just looking at a progression bar when I'm quite anxious to play.

This one...I'd say get GTAIV second hand later ( maybe next year when there are no games coming out ). Because in GTAIV you'll only have the main story to do, after that there's not really anything to do.

While it does have much better graphics, it has imo a worse soundtrack / controls / missions / openness.

It's also really really fun when on weed.

Clear your cache? I've been playing Coop and not really any lockups, neither in SP ( only once ).

the escort mission is cool BTW, at level 3 you can have vehicles delivered to you (use phone) for $1000 and level 6 have them delivered free

anyway, what does the 'ho' stuff rewards you with? the one where you use right stick to find the spot, and left stick to give them pleasure?

I already got to level 7 (very easy vs other minigames) and I didnt get any money or rewards. the other minigames level 3 and/or 6 give rewards (money, respect, unlockables)

Well I'm impressed, a couple of hours has flown by and I've only done about 3 story missions! Still adjusting to the controls (Why force me to use the triggers?) but I'm having a great time. Vehicles seem a bit odd though, I never feel out of control even when going top speed.

Pretty suprised by the mission variety and really shows me just how stale GTA4 was in comparison. Characters so far seem entertaining and everything just seems tailored to be pure fun. I get a huge "GTA:SA mess about" feeling when I play this. Can't wait to try co-op out as well

Graphics on the PS3 also look decent and I haven't noticed anything bad framerate wise (I do have V-Sync off though)

Anyone getting really bad screen tearing? I have the 360 version and holy shit it's annoying. Almost as bad as Dead Rising.

The graphics do suck in this game the rest is fun though. I already got into a fight just to see a guy start filming it with his phone. :lol

GTA4 has much better graphics but already I can see SR2 has a lot more little details that make the game much more interesting. I love the over the top feel again. GTA4 should have been this but better.

I had to laugh watching my tough guy thug do the "Oh no you din't!" taunt. I ended up picking it.

Aisha is a former member of the Saints and Johnny's girlfriend. She was signed to a record label owned by the Vice Kings, whose building you destroyed and faked her death. Troy was another member of the Saints who, as it turns out, was an undercover cop who had infiltrated the group. He got made the chief of police after the old one was killed in the boat explosion that you are supposedly killed in at the end of Saints Row 1.
