I've seen it once on the 360 when I blew alot of fools up .. other than that, silky smooth.
Edit The framerate does dip from time to time though ...

Likewise. Also I haven't really noticed a huge drop in framerates either. I guess my 360 is better than mostDabanton said:I've played SR2 for at least 10 hours and haven't seen any tearing.
Have you actually read game threads in GAF?MMaRsu said:How can GTAIV be the better game when Saints Row 2 is more fun?
Don't we all play for fun?

Load times and graphics look fine to me.

Anyway, after 40-ish hours, I've just "discovered" drive by diversions. No clue how I've never seen or had the activation prompt before. :lol

My buddy and me play about an hour or two a night and the games will freeze atleast 3 times a night. I am not exaggerating. We both have cleared our caches, tried with and without the patch. Nothing works! And if we get on a lucky streak and are able to finish a mission or two without the entire 360 freezing we have the pleasure of getting stuck in cars or other crazy bugs that have us restarting missions!
Online? If so, check your (or his) router and NAT settings. About a third of my playtime has been co-op with a variety of people and there's only one guy who I've had the system lock-up on me. Every other time has been fine, but I've had 3 freezes with him over a three hour span in the one time we've played.joelseph said:You guys must not be playing co-op, your experiences are so happy and joyful. No SP freezes at all, FYI.
madmook said:Alright, my earlier initial impressions of sometimes janky controls, ugly graphics and jumpy framerate still stand, but the game's growing on me with its general fun-ness. There's a certain charm with grabbing and tossing innocent unsuspecting fishermen off a pier into the water.
I would like to switch to the PS3 version, however, due to the dualshock3 being easier to handle with my sweaty palms, can someone with experience of the PS3 version tell me whether the controls are okay and how much harddrive space the install takes up? I've watched some youtube footage of the PS3 version in action and it looks like it keeps up with the 360 version just fine.

Go to theThen follow the intructions from there.Saints Row Police dept and search for the Detective's office. Listen to the wire taps in order and then go into Troy's office (right in the back of the Det office) and grab the file.

If you're commenting on the game, you should comment on all aspects of it. Or do you want nothing but unending praise for the game and never a mention of the flaws? People who comment want it to be known they are not blindly praising the game but commenting on it's strengths and weaknesses.Union Carbine said:Why do people have to qualify their praise of the game with negatives? I don't know how many times I've read some variation of "the graphics sux/are worse than GTAIV/has bad breath but I like it anyway" can't someone just like the game without feeling the need to tear it down first?
It's the "I love it anyway" that I dislike. As if it's impossible to just like the game. Of course someone should comment on the good and the bad. However that doesn't mean that every positive must be qualified by a negative.idahoblue said:If you're commenting on the game, you should comment on all aspects of it. The graphics do suck. They are worse than GTA IV. It has bad breath. I love it anyway.

No, he'll get credit for finishing 3 of them (if he hasn't done any yet). So he'll get the half way reward.copybeaver said:Hey everyone,
I had a quick question about how online play works regarding the player joining the game.
1. So if I have already completed say 3 levels of an activity in my game and I finish the last 3 with a friend in co-op, does my friend get the "6 levels" completed reward and what not?
Yeah, he gets whatever respect and money owed. And yes, when he reaches that point in his game he can just skip it if he likes.2. If I'm farther ahead in the story missions than my friend say for Ronin, and we complete a mission that my friend hasn't done yet, does heunlock everything that I unlock and get it counted as completed? Then when my friend gets up to that point in the story on his mission, he can just skip it?
