Starting on the northern island, the Museum District has been extended outwards into the ocean. Above the original parts of the Museum District and the High End Retail District is a new area, Hotels and Marina District. It has a few activities, some stores and a casino with video poker. The island has also been extended out to the East as well. To the Left/East of the Suburbs is a new Suburbs Expansion District and in the bottom left, the Trailer Park District. Both the new Marina and Suburbs Expansion districts feature a Crib (just a dock/garage for your boats). Adept Way has undergone a major architecture redesign.

So how does the 'cop' system work? Still Forgive and Forgets? Or something similar to GTA IV?
I still love SR, just now I accidentally crashed into someones car, within three seconds, two saints gang members pulled the driver out of her car and started beating her up, lol.

Forgive and Forget, it's the exact same as Saints Row1. Cops seem a bit more touchy though and if they plow into you you'll get stars. Also cops in coop can be a bit of a drag, if your coop partner does something like steal a car and start a hostage mission, bam 3 stars worth of cops after you.burnfout said:
Edit: Forgive and Forgets in coop only work when your coop partner is nearby, you can't be across the map from each other and use them

Eh I think it will be. I don't play CoD4 anymore anyway, and this game is going to tide me over for a long time. I just checked my stats in SR and I've logged over 90 hours in it over multiple playthroughs

Do yourself a favor and if youre a fan of open world games go out and pick up a copy of Saints Row 2.
Saints Row 2 takes GTAs gameplay, turns it on its side and sends it rolling down a mountain filled with land mines, roving monster trucks and ninjas.
IGN AU - 8.0/10
Arguably, [Co-op] is also the best way to experience Saints Row 2 Youll want to share the explosions, massive jumps, stupid-but-entertaining cutscenes, secret sex grottos, morbidly obese hookers, beanpole Goths, punks playing craps, cops beating up nude public love-makers and other oddities that populate this world.
Total Video Games - 9/10
For the sequel, Volition has managed to bridge the gap between completing missions and just doing your own thing perfectly.
PALGN - 8.5/10
The actual narrative itself is also very well crafted, with some quite frankly hilarious writing thats pulled off very successfully by the games large cast of voice talent.
Gameshark - A- (91/100)
you will absolutely want to do the various activities for two reasons. One, they are fun as hell and two, you get some pretty cool stuff for your efforts.
PGNX - 9.6/10
In terms of pure, unadulterated fun, Saints Row 2 is in a league of its own.
MSXBOX World - 9.5/10
Saints Row 2 sticks two very long pointed fingers up at the pomposity that is GTA IV (there I said it) by offering something it can call its own.
There are lots of games out this holiday season, and Saints Row 2 should be one of the games that you play, as theres nothing at present that can rival its madcap adrenaline fueled flamboyance.
Gaming Trend - 9.2/10
The game makes a lot of headway in terms of story quality, and the customization is beyond what weve seen in any sandbox title to date. While Saints Row 2 doesnt reinvent the genre by any means, it brings more than enough big pimpin gameplay to keep me busy for a while.

Now that Volition has worked out how to make a great sandbox game, it's time to shake up the setting. Whilst I think we needed an actual sequel to Saints Row, I think the next game should probably take place elsewhere and focus on something other than being part of/running a gang.

34:28 in, and 87% complete. Tons and tons and tons of shit to unlock in this game, there is a lot of incentive to keep going.

Not so lucky right now. The day before a highly anticipated game is released is always the toughest one.
I have no desire to play any of my other 360 games right now, though I may pop in Saints Row 1 to take a tour of the city and get reaquainted before playing 2 tomorrow.

Man this game is so bad :lol Saints Row 1 pulled it off because it was the first next gen sandbox game, but man.. Its hard to see why it took so long for a sequel when so much is straight out of SR1 even down to the same map and glitches.
