I was actually going to change my vote to Brian when I realized it was Fake Marrow, but my bet change didn't register.

Wow... that's even worse than the Killer Whale upset. And I didn't know there was a fake Marrow, how does she look?

I'm like 90% certain that the blue-green Marrow is worse than the pure blue Marrow, unless all of these upsets today have been caused by Stealth Autobalance 2.0.

I remember in the beginning of the old thread, before I had my account approved, everyone mentioned this SSJ4 gohan that is apparently super OP and doesnt actually have health so cant die or something like that, what happened to him?

fights between two broken characters are probably the best aspect of SaltyBet. The Rare Akuma vs. Rare Akuma match was beautiful.

Can't remember well, but wasn't him one of those characters that frequently trashed the client? (And was removed from the game for the same reason)

I don't know, after looking in some places for the most broken characters and watch them fight, the typical crazy bunch of stuff happening on screen gets tired pretty fast.

With that said, I LOVE watching crazy characters but the crazy broken gods class is a tad meh, at least for me. (I like to know what is happening!)

Gohan SSJ4. He's still around, but he lost a couple of times when his opponents had damage coded in some way that worked off of the opponent's HP percentage and thus caused him to die when the game decided that it meant "all the damage."

Jojos, with few exceptions (one or two Dios, Maraiah, and the occasional Iggy upset). suck. Of all the anime casts, they're the ones you can rely on to lose your salties with the quickness. Narutos are the absolute worst, tho.

Midler and Iggy actually do great whenever I catch their match. Usually the favorite though, so I never make much on them.

To the guy asking about Nightmare earlier: he just lost to one of the awful DBZ characters.

I forgot that he actually has a move that kills himself. Anyone know what it's supposed to do? Or is it meant to do that?

Nightmare is purposely made as a bad joke character IIRC so that's pretty much the reason for every fault of his

That move will OHKO the enemy, but it does 90% damage to him first, and if he has less than 90% health, he just drops dead before the attack actually goes off.

I think Dio vs. Whale broke my spirit as well as my wallet. My betting record used to be like 7:1 wins versus losses, but yesterday I lost like 80% of the things I bet on. I think I need to take a break or I'll never be able to get back out of the mines.

edit: And Ky (the hunched over one) just beat Fordy 73.8:1. Not the biggest upset but it definitely sent a dozen or so higher-tier people back into the mines.

I was like that yesterday, I went to 20k then back to the mines like 3 times in a few days. And suddenly, I hit 3 nasty upsets almost in a row and right now I'm at 6 digits.

Shishio. He actually started off by getting out pressured by Haruhi's team setups and spastic behavior, but then he turned on the stupid and made it look even until Haruhi busted out some new string no one's ever seen before at which time Shishio stands in place and parries the entirety of the super then counter hits into a full screen carry combo for the KO. MUGEN God status defended.

That match was Salty Classic finals tier.

Lizard Man is REALLY good, but more than half of his matches have been against some of the best characters in the game and he hasn't had that many of them, so he looks like a scrub if you just have W:L stats as an Illuminati.

Skrull is well known as a good character and has been around for a while so people think he's a safe bet.

There is also the opposite, characters that frequently face scrubs. As we all have seen, when the time comes to face something real, they are obliterated. However, the upset potential shouldn't be that big since they are facing something known as good.

In any case, I'm on a terrible slump, even playing carefully I have vaporized 30-40% of all my money... boy I hate those days.
