people who assume small characters have a hitbox advantage are funny. Only in extremely rare cases does that matter (against characters with high fireballs etc) but having a small hitbox is a disadvantage when it comes to range making it very difficult to actually land hits.

Mostly because the AI doesn't know how to exploit it, imo. They jump into projectiles all the time.
It definitely happens, though. Like Knuckles vs Gold Warmachine, Ami bf vs many, Lee vs Raptor, and Chibi Naruto vs Raiden.

I've just read on the Twitch stream that they're working on fixing the betting system, and meanwhile the stream will be viewable through Twitch only.
I'm been playinf since yesterday, and I love how crazy everything is. I've laughed out loud many, many times, mostly due to the hilarious banter and that goes on the stream chat (and on this thread before I actually felt like checking the site itself out). How much money do you get to resume betting once you reach $0?

Oh, I only read the OP for OT1, and skipped OT2's to head straight for the comments.
I guess I won't be doing any large bets anytime soon, then, since I'm still trying to get back to the starting $400 (I'm at about $330, from <$280).

Ella and Dragon Claw have awesome animations, Ella was dodging and all kinds of crazy moves yesterday.
Rubber Soul is my favorite for the massive upset he caused. Always bet on Jojos.

Luckily, the stream got fixed really soon. It was fun to watch as everyone went "GAH" in the chat.
I like how wacky some match-ups are, and prefer close games to crazy one-sided stuff. However, it's crazy how nearly every DB character has thousands of HP and/or OHKO supers, which I guess is why people get told to bet on them. Oozaru and seemed to catch quite a few people off guard when he popped up yesterday (or was it the day before? I don't remember).

my favorite character to watch is ghetto warmachine and winnie the pooh. it's quite hilarious to see pooh bear kicking the shit out of other characters.
Oh god, this Goku Transformer vs Nemesis match had me laughing out loud the whole time... Nemesis merely jumped awkwardly and did a Wryyy pose, and Goku was still unable to KO him and won by time; he even fired his two super beams while flying, which missed even the tall Nemesis.
on twitter yesterday he said at some point he wants to add 25%, 50%, 75% and all in buttons, it's unlikely those would be added today but hey who knows.

Well the site couldn't do anything but get more popular so I'm not sure how much of the sites extra thousands of viewers were due to the thread.
It all blew up when the first thread on NeoGAF was created, then on Giant Bomb and with Jeff tweeting about it, so I'm sure it had a significant effect on the site's rapid growth.
