There was a meter at the top of the screen that I don't think Patchouli normally has. More importantly, even with the instant kill regular Patchouli is way more aggressive.
Be careful about going all in folks, there are now fake versions of OP characters running around!

I didn't notice the meter because I was too baffled by what was going on, but that's a neat hint. I did realize that she didn't start immediately attacking as she usually does, though.
And yeah, this is why I don't go all in.

Damn, I missed the biggest upset of all time huh?
The chart says it was the same patchouli, it was extra bizarre because that patch had taken much more ridiculous attacks than that before.
Edit: also, what Flux said. The chart doesnt always have different stats. The regular SF characters and puzzle fighters aren't listed separately.
The statistics don't give stats for individual versions of characters with a same name, so we can't check anything. She didn't sandbag or anything because even if her A.I. had somehow turned off during that match, her normal health wouldn't have been affected (she's not a glass cannon).
Even the person who provided the character is confused, so I guess no one really knows right now.

So most likely it was just a random glitch with MUGEN/the character?
Who knows. I hadn't seen anything like that until now, anyways. Maybe Salty decided to sneak in a modified version of Patchouli to fuck with people or something.

Nah. It's either a decoy version of one of the characters with the same name or the fix is in.

and surprisingly abridged does a pretty good job of keeping the story intact while being incredibly funny
Some of the VA's are better too. Goku in particular fits the character better IMO.

Abridged is the only way to watch that show now.
If you haven't seen it, stick with it until at least Namek. They ramp up the quality a lot by the time Frieza shows up.

You can find the series with the intros cut out on youtube by searching for "dragonball z abridged" it takes a little over 5 hours to do from the start to the end of the frieza saga.
