If the second one from the right is Kim Pine, they really nailed it on the head.DanielPlainview said:Another (older) still:

Scott Pilgrim is not awkward in a Michael Cera-ish way. In fact, I'd call Cera taking this role 'branching out'.LAUGHTREY said:I like the movie where Michael Cera plays the awkward teenager.
I'm really surprised by how well casted the movie is. They all really look like their comic page counterparts, especially Ramona.timmy said:If the second one from the right is Kim Pine, they really nailed it on the head.
Eh, hopefully his acting will make up for his appearance.Shig said:The skepticism on Cera playing a good Scott is completely well-founded. I don't care if he can deliver lines like the best obliviously cool guy of all time, it's all for naught if he doesn't have the look to match. And oh lord does he not have that look.

i have faith in micheal ceras ability to act like scott, but i dont see him looking like him. still like i said before, he lives where the story takes place, so thats pretty cool

L2BT on Tumblr: I was lucky enough to see this awesome nerdfest of a flick known as Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It was a lot of fun and Edgar Wright did an impressive job bringing the comic to the screen. Pilgrim is going to gain even more followers once this hits theatres in August. Kids are really going to geek out over this. Hard. Scott Pilgrim was the nerdiest movie Ive ever seen and it was awesome. Edgar Wright did an amazing job. What a fun film.
enright on Tumblr: the movie itself is somewhat entertaining, theres some humor in it and his gay roommate is a riot. its WONDERFULLY shot, like holy shit. the effects werent so great, reminded me of cheap japanese animation. the acting was OK, one of the exs was superman in superman returns and hes also the gay guy miri hit on in zach and miri make a porno. most of the affects were cheesy, like the fight scenes were mostly CGId, less than impressive. overall, it was okay. i wouldnt see it again. maybe download it illegally. so hey movie people, if you end up seeing this, its JAMES ENRIGHT from the PARAMUS SHOWING.

At this point, we only have a couple promo images. What gives?
