They were not.

It's pretty normal for that metal shielding piece to be rusted and dirty.

i did. it was a BVM 20G1U, looks like the post office delayed mine, shipped to the wrong place.

I'm going to nominate Revenge of Shinobi. I've never played it, and I should rectify that immediately.
Also, I just cleaned one of my 3 Button pads using the previously posted video as a guide, and it's SO responsive now! The face buttons are so clicky, makes me want to play some shooters.

It really does! And the anime flavor expands to the manual as well. Had to finish some work last night, so I didn't even have the chance to fire up the MD, but I'm looking forward to give the game a spin later on today. Enjoy Sub Terrania! ^_-

Got the good ending on Revenge of Shinobi last night - haven't done that in a while. I almost rage quit during stage 7-1; still hate the pixel perfect jumps you have to make on the level - even the jumping magic doesn't help with one of them.

Damn. I can't even do the double jump consistently. Congrats! I only make it stage 3 or 4.

I think all the retro console specific threads are in gaming community. They're almost a chat room so they'd be bumped up all the time in gaming. Gaming is all the lastest xb1/ps4/pc stuff. I don't necessarily like it but I can see how it organizes the content better.

I'm going to wait to see how the HD Retrovision component cables and the OSSC review before I make plans for my retro consoles.

I should have my first controller cleaned up and reassembled tonight. Well, cleaned last night. One of the screw mount towers on the lower piece was already broken so I put some epoxy on it and let it sit overnight. The board was pretty clean besides the C button had some gunk by it. [edit, controller is back together and working great!]

Do you have a 2.1 speaker system connected? Nowadays they are pretty cheap, and Genesis really rolls awesomely with a subwoofer.

i just picked up a 2.1 Creative pc speaker/sub on craigslist for 15 bucks. he threw in super mario galaxy 2 for 4 bucks more =)

I will post images aplenty, the thing is that the pce/turbo already does pretty good composite, but s-vid screen I have seen are damned nice, I cannot wait for my baby to be back in my arms, whaaaaaa!!!
