Use this gif as reference before meeting the final boss, it'll make your life a lot easier. This goes for anyone else in this thread who wants to be Revenge a lot easier, because without it it's way too hard.

Note it's the room just before the final boss.

Good ending is more rewarding though, anyone can get the "bad" ending but it takes skill to get the good one.

Let's not oversell the skill required - it takes a little more effort - I got the good ending the first time I tried to after realizing there was a good ending.

I'm really interested in the Renovation-published games. Sounds like it would be good to collect them. Are most pretty good? Any real bombs in there?

Their output varies between okay and excellent but damn their US boxart generally makes my eyes bleed. Still they have some classics that are required playing like Elemental Master, Granada and Gain Ground. Not to mention personal favorites like Vapor Trail.

I agree with the above when it comes to Rennovation. Gaiares is worth adding to the list, I also have Whip Rush which isn't bad and ys III. El Viento was mentioned on the previous page as well.

They had a number of FMV games on the Sega CD, which are love or hate.

For Genesis carts, Beast Wrestler is pretty shitty, Dino Land is okay but I'm a sucker for video pinball. Can't really think of any other duds from them.

Ys is OK. It didn't grab me but I'm more into shooters and platformers. I think it is one of the better versions of the game if I'm not mistaken. It is just too bad Genesis didn't get the others in the series.

I have heard the fmv games Time Gal and Road Avenger are great but I haven't invested in those yet myself. There is also a ninja one.

I forgot to mention Final Zone. It is pretty neat. The box art is awesome, some of the best on Genesis. It can be a bit repetitive but it is really cool moving the mech around in an "open" world and the graphics are OK.

Sega Genesis Club Guidelines

The nominated title should be readily available via standard
channels such as eBay, for a reasonable price (Maximum $30,
preferably less to give the majority of people a chance to join
in). The title should be a licensed Genesis/Megadrive title (No hacks,
homebrew, multicarts). Only exception is unlicensed, but readily available titles.
The title should be available in English, and if not, it should at the very least be
playable without knowledge of Japanese.

Due to the nature of the Club, excessively long or grind-heavy
games such as RPGs will be excluded.

Selection Process (see above)
The first week of each month, the selection process for the following
month commences. The first five games suggested that have not
yet been played, and were not nominated the month before will be
added to the list and will be voted on. So be sure to come in early to
nominate your favorites!

On the 7th day of the month, or when we reach five nominations (whichever comes
first) the nominations are tallied in the following manner:
The list of nominees are checked for infringements of the above
guidelines, and any not meeting the requirements are removed.
The voting list will be shuffled for each member voting.
Voting will take place until the 20th day of the month, at which point the poll will
close and the votes will be tallied.
The winner will be announced as soon as the tally is counted so that members
will have time to pick up the winning game.

For something a bit different in May, I nominate Flashback: The Quest for Identity. The cutscenes are still spectacular on the Genesis, and it's a cool, cheap game that can be beaten pretty easily.

I'm excited for Eswat this month. Just in my preliminary play through I was able to get to level 3 pretty easily. The bosses are a fun challenge, but I'm looking forward to seeing what this suit can do!

I haven't completed E-Swat since I was in college so I wonder if my old man reflexes will be enough to get through the game. I got to level 3 a week or so ago but wasn't really feeling the controls on the suit. I'll have to get a 6 pack and give it another try.

I'm not the best at image editing and with this one I struggled a bit. Mainly because of the header banner that I used. Most of what I wanted visible was cut off.

Someone was walking with a t-shirt that had a Genesis Model 2 picture and a quote saying "When I was dead broke I couldn't picture this"

I wanted to take a picture but my phone battery was dead.
