Playing some Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game on the Genesis in honor of seeing Scott Hall in the squared circle at Wrestlepalooza tonight.
Not the greatest roster on that game, but fun to be able to play as Razor!

Rolo also saves his animal friends along the way, and each animal has a special ability that is needed to successfully reach the end of each level. For example, the rabbit is able to jump very high, the squirrel can climb, the mole can dig, and the beaver can swim.
5. Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf
The Scuds are back! With a fiery blast from your Hellfire missiles you must annihilate a ruthless tyrant's military arsenal. Smoke his private yacht and tear into his air force as you challenge the Madman's forces in a series of surgical strikes. Rip through 27 fiery missions. Force is highly recommended.

Cross-posting from the Sega CD thread but intrigued to find out. Have read a few conflicting things regarding this online. Can anyone confirm if you need to remove your Mega Everdrive/Everdrive to use the Sega CD or if it's fine left in? Thanks.
Re-reading the Everdrive manual seems to indicate that you can in fact run both of them in theory but would like to hear confirmation from those who are doing it themselves.

My Everdrive never leaves my console. I use it to run the bios and it also works as a Ram cart for Sega CD saves.

Is it true the Genesis has a lot of Zelda 2 style games? What are some good ones?

Yeah, this is accurate. Plenty of Zelda-esque games (Like Landstalker and Crusader of Centy) but not really Zelda 2.

IT'S SO COOL
Star Trek Deep Space Nine on Genesis (also ported to SNES) is a hidden gem. Really cheap, and plays a lot like Flashback.

Is it the same as the SNES version?
i read a bit about the SNES version and i guess the space battles are more difficult than Genesis version (10 minutes to repair?!) and there are more encounters overall

I don't know about "a lot", but Wonder Boy in Monster World (aka WB V/MW III) and Monster World VI have a similar structure, side-scrolling action-adventure with RPG elements. They're also amazing games that I'd recommend without hesitation.
Both are available on PSN, and the former is available on Steam for barely $3.RadarScope1

My Genesis RGB cables finally arrived from the UK after nearly a month! I plan to get to Quack Shot after a bit of Castlevania.
Genesis/MD looks so good in RGB

I saw a comment on an article of UK leaving Europe saying something like "Of course this would happen on Sonic's birthday. UK vastly preferred Mega Drive while the rest of Europe wasn't sure who to side on. That's where the divide started"

It's easy to see why kids in 1991 preferred Sonic to Mario in those mall tours Sega's marketing team were doing.

The MD Sonic games beat out pretty much all of the 2D Mario games in terms of aesthetics.
