He would be more fondly regarded by the mainstream audiences. Half Minute Hero keeps being really well received.

Finally got my copy of Bhikkhuni and I have to agree with everyone else, the game is superior to SK on every aspect. I'm very impressed that Meteorise got so many things right on their first attempt, Tamsoft should learn a thing or two from them.

Finally jumped into the series with burst.

Is there any need to do extra missions? Im just sticking to the main story missions and im breezing through the game anyway.

There are a few titles that will ask you to complete them but otherwise there's really no need to play those missions unless you want to go for 100%.

Hanzo 5-08 appears after all is said and done and is totally optional, but it's worth noting because it's what you have to complete to unlock Daidouji.

I finally did it.

I had $150 in Amazon credit and leftover cash from Christmas so I did some hunting and found the Nyuu Nyuu packs of Estival Versus for PS4 and Vita for ~$80 and ~$60 respectively, with shipping it came out to like $170 so I only paid about $20 out of pocket.

Now I finally have all four of the Nyuu Nyuu packs that came with the little figures. So stoked, especially to find them at such low prices (Amazon and eBay usually list them around $170-200+ EACH).

In the latter half of 2015 we’ve heard more about titles such as Valkyrie Drive and Uppers from Marvelous Producer Kenichiro Takaki, but he recently mentioned in an interview with 4Gamer that we’ll get more Senran Kagura in 2016.

“I believe that 2016 will be a year that we’ll see even bigger changes than we did this year. I’d like for our team to become one and continue making fun games in this era, with tenderness and our unchanging love for boobs and games,” said Takaki.

He continued, “next year we’re starting with our beat ‘em up-type stud action game Uppers, and also look forward to new information on the Senran Kagura series! Thank you for everything this year, and your continued support next year as well.”

The series keep improving and apparently VD is pretty nice too, so good news!
Waiting on the next Nintendo handheld maybe?

Is there anyone who's picking up the localizations though? Like didn't Xseed said they're not porting stuff anymore after they're done with this batch of SK? Or was that comment just about other games and stuff?

Wonder if they have any plans to do cross platform stuff like Estival Versus again or if they'll stick to Vita only. Maybe the PS4 sales aren't worth it in Japan?

We'll have to wait and see.

if SK ps4 sells , that might be a factor to consider.
Not to mention that we don't know , well we didn't know what was the future of SK after EV.
Heck we still don't know. ( now )

Maybe there is some backdoor deal from marvelous to change things , maybe xseed want to do something else at this point of time .. but right now we're missing too much information.

When asked what other fan service games Xseed will bring to North America, a representative responded that they had no plans to localize more.

"None," the representative said. "Senran Kagura is special because it's by our parent company and made by a most excellent producer."

In the comment section of Siliconera, localization specialist Tom Lipschultz stated that while this doesn't mean Xseed won't publish more games with fan service in them, the publisher has no plans to pursue games for fan service content alone.

"The idea behind that response, I believe, is that we're not going to be pursuing any titles based solely on the existence of 'naughty' fan service within them," he wrote. "But that's not new: even Senran Kagura is a series we were thrilled to work on because it has great gameplay, well-developed characters and a fairly deep mythos behind it. In short, the Senran Kagura titles are fantastic games. The fan service within them is just icing on the cake."

SK will continue to get localized and if Marvelous wants it, so will VD.

Ahh, okay. Yeah, that was the quote I was thinking of. So in other words, there actually had to be good gameplay as well to balance out the fan service.

I am definitely looking forward to more SK this year. I hope SV does well on PC and maybe we can get faster localisations too.

I don't see SV selling that well due to being a Vita port, but I can see us getting faster localizations as SK seems to be bigger in the west now.

This is an action game in which players lead one of five shinobi factions through battles on a mysterious island. Players punch, kick, and use weapons (e.g., swords, scythe, rifles) to defeat humans and creatures (e.g., wooden golems, cat girls) in melee-style combat. Battles are accompanied by cries of pain and impact sounds. By inflicting damage, players can cause human opponents' clothing to rip apart, revealing lingerie/underwear or partially nude bodies—breasts/buttocks obscured by bright lights and orbs. In one mini-game, players can repeatedly tap on a female character's body to remove her clothing. Some gallery images depict female characters with exposed buttocks; pictures sometimes depict characters groping at breasts. Yeah, Daidoji is pretty hard to beat in Burst, good thing that's an optional challenge.

Is she good in EV btw, for those that imported it?
