Shigeru Miyamoto's Roundtable for E3 09

Earthbound Wii I can feel it... it's either that or suicide for me, please don't let me down.
These last six minutes were as forgettable as any others, but still, goodbye, nestea.

Don't do it!

6:06 p.m.: Matty-boy and Craig sit down. The show hasn't started, but the LiveBlog of Awesomeness does. And here we go...

6:08 p.m.: New Super Mario Bros. Wii idling on one of the TVs up front, which suggests he's probably going to be talking about that one for a bit. We also spotted a DS, though. Maybe there's some kind of link between the games? Wishful thinking.

That would be tight

Why are you people excited for this? Are you stupid on purpose?

:lol

6:09 p.m.: No video or photography allowed, by the way, so if you're reading this, not happening. You're going to have to rely on my detailed, vivid descriptions.

6:08 p.m.: Matt and Craig here. Craig is fiddling with his iPhone. This thing was supposed to start already, but it took longer checking in or setting up or doing something and the end result is this delay. People are still piling in. Shigeru Miyamoto has not yet made his appearance. And we saw New Super Mario Bros. Wii idling on one of the TVs up front, which suggests he's probably going to be talking about that one for a bit. Seeing how Miyamoto didn't bother unveiling Super Mario Galaxy or anything, I think it's totally possible for Miyamoto to unveil a big project during this event. :D

6:11 p.m.: The room is quieter. But no Miyamoto. Now it's awkwardly quiet. Tim O'Leary from the Treehouse at Nintendo of America is tonight's host and translator. He reiterates no photography or video. He also says it in Japanese just in case.

6:12 p.m.: He introduces Shigeru Miyamoto, who takes the stage. Bill Trinen from NOA sits right in front of us and I give him a sexy massage on his shoulder. He winks at me. It's completely on.

6:13 p.m.: Miyamoto says he's going to begin talking and does. "I'm very lucky this year. I wasn't up on the stage during the briefing today so I'm in a very relaxed mood," he jokes.

Yeah, I found the lack of Miyamoto during the conference rather odd.

Here's hoping.

Were they this strict last year? If not, potential something something *nudge nudge wink wink*

Oh I was right!
