Super Mario Bros. Wii may have a surprise in store for gamers when it hits later this year.

Speaking to Kotaku at E3 today, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto seem to let slip that the game may include at least an initial glimpse at a revolutionary save system first hinted at in a patent filed by Miyamoto last year.

No, if you read the rest of the article it says that it is the save system described in the Legend of OO patent a while back. This means that you can see videos of certain sections of the game to see how to get passed them if you are stuck. It isn't so much aimed at the GAF crowd that relishes a challenge, but the "non-gaming" crowd.

Cripes.....that just means Galaxy 2 will be at next year's E3.....and that means Fall 2010. :\

I doubt if they'd delay it even after that though. He said they're pretty far along and just want to delay it so they can get NSMB Wii out this year. Maybe they'd release it sooner, but I'm hoping it gets an early 2010 release.

Why is everyone saying Zelda. It's only been like 2.5 years since we had one. Why count the time when it was revealed? Nobody counts time between games from when it was revealed, it's when it was released. I say it's still too early for another Zelda. The time between OOT and LTTP was about 7 years.

3 years is a proper time between sequels, clearly that is not happening. So it may be 4 years.

When he thought Amir0x banned him in spite, he changed his avatar to a string of insults directed at Amir0x, effectively insulting him on GAF even after his ban. So Amir0x complied with his wishes and permed him.
