Shohei Ohtani gets 10 strikeouts and three home runs in single game to secure World Series spot

He's the greatest player of baseball who has ever lived but I hope Toronto wins the World Series
It's too bad he started late in the MLB (started at 23) and was injured a lot in his first 3 years as well. His stats would be much higher if he was healthy and started at let's say 20 years old. He'd probably have 100 more HRs (assuming as a young guy he'd start out slower than bombing 40-50 HR like now).

I'm watching the world series right now.

I don't know a lot about baseball but I used to play co-op with my friend Chris White when he had his original Xbox. We just have so much fun.

Almost everything I know about baseball is through High Heat and the MLB games that we used to play.

This Japanese guy is an absolute legend.

crazy game still going at 12 innings

Ohtani probably would have had another 3 HR game if they kept pitching to him, he already hit 2 HR and 2 doubles. They should have started walking him sooner.

Baseball is kinda weird since I last really watched it. Tuned in right before the last Ohtani at-bat... ever since he just makes cameo appearances to get intentionally walked... and I guess at some point they added a "hold X to skip animation".

I'm not sure if I remember them playing like 4 notes of a song Name That Tune style in between every pitch either back in the day, but my god that's fucking annoying.

Constant cut-away zoom-ins to watch a baseball player spit in HD/4k era also a bit...

And Vladimir Guerrero's kid is some kind of fat slob first baseman? Very disappointing. Vlad was a staple in my final (quite dominant) fantasy baseball teams with all that power hitting paired with some stolen bases.

And what's with all these cunts pretending they hit a home run when they didn't. It's like an epidemic. They think they're in Colorado or something? Very bizarre.

But I'm enjoying myself, I like watching offense struggle in baseball and would love to see some poor position player having to pitch.

Still going and they might actually pitch to Ohtani?? This could be a tragic ending for the Jays. Why not walk him a 5th time!
