Jays win today, they got it.
It's too bad he started late in the MLB (started at 23) and was injured a lot in his first 3 years as well. His stats would be much higher if he was healthy and started at let's say 20 years old. He'd probably have 100 more HRs (assuming as a young guy he'd start out slower than bombing 40-50 HR like now). He's the greatest player of baseball who has ever lived but I hope Toronto wins the World Series
What Rick managed to do with his comeback as an outfielder was amazingIn my day we didn't have Ohtani... but we did have Rick Ankiel. And I mean... he was basically the same thing... pretty much. I mean not quite. But close enough.
Indeed, it is agreed then, Ohtani will have not surpassed Ankiel until he plays in the field on his non-pitching days, instead of being lazy and playing DH, a role that should be reserved for the clinically obese. What Rick managed to do with his comeback as an outfielder was amazing
His 2 throws in Colorado were insane
Total side note but Ankiel is also a great human.Indeed, it is agreed then, Ohtani will have not surpassed Ankiel until he plays in the field on his non-pitching days, instead of being lazy and playing DH, a role that should be reserved for the clinically obese.
