Me wearing it. Erased my face cause I don't like the face I was making haha. At first I though it wouldn't look good with jeans but after trying them on, it looks awesome.

Second on the Kobe 8s. Soooooo comfy. Definitely one of the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever worn.

Loving this pack. All 3 colors look great, especially the green and red ones. Love me some asics/onitsuka tiger.

I think the Roshes are the most comfortable sneaker, IMO. Kobe 8 is second.

I wear the Roshes to the gym except for when I have to go running. I occasionally wear the Kobe's. Kobes are good for ball but then again I think the X and XI Brons are probably better. Jordan XX8 are pretty good too.

The people saying legit and not legit are probably the people that have different definitions of those "unauthorized" shoes. I would say go for it if you don't care about that stuff. I'm gonna take a shot at retail but if I can't get them then I will probably go for those unauthorized joints that will flood the market on ebay.

Bought the Bred 1s. Gonna have to trust the guys that I talked to and said they do sell legit shoes. They should be coming in on Monday. As far as unauthorized stuff go, I'm in the "if it's made from the same materials and same factory just not under Nike's supervision, it's legit" camp.

Anyways Laney 5s and Lebron 11 aways tomorrow! Passing on the Lebrons and thinking of picking up the Laneys. Only thing holding me back is the wrath I'd receive from the wifey if I buy them. I told her I wouldn't buy any more shoes for the rest of the year lol.

I did make decision between the Kobe 8 and CP3.7 yesterday and I ordered the CP3.7. I ain't playing b-ball on a professional level, so I do not need the best performance shoes available.

A sneaker store franchise celebrated his 20th anniversary here in Germany, so I got the CP3.7 20% off. (Instead of 130, only 103 bucks. Success!) I just love the awesome look of them. I can't wait to see them in person and get some fun on the court next week.

Brother in law picked up the Laneys. They looked alright to me. I think I made the right decision to not get them.

Not much hype up here either, arrived at the mall around 6 AM and there were only 5 people in line. Talked to a Foot Locker employee about the Oreo 5s and he said it looks like it's gonna be a limited release much like the grape 5s earlier this year.

At first there were only the bigger sizes popping up on NDC and I was going to pull the trigger on a size 11 for a friend. Then I said I could wait and it wasn't really a loss if I didn't get my size or nothing at all. Then a 9 popped up and I was able to grab it. Really surprised. Now I'm gonna sell them to another friend if I don't like them when they arrive.

Going to Orlando for 2 weeks. Still on the fence regarding the KD and Lebron Aways, even with the military discount. I saw on NT that a guy was able to buy the Bron Aways for 100 at the Nike employee store. Sigh. I'd get a part time job if it meant I could get the privileges.

The Nike discount + swoosh account are way better than the 30% employee discount at FTL and Co, unless you have a whacked out manager who allows b-day and VIP on top of it.

And like I stated on NT. Lebrons are the BMW 5 series of Nike shoes. Jordan XX8 is the 7 series. Kobe 3 series. KD 1 series with a bunch of other Sigs/lines mixed in.

Now the thing to watch out for is the Lebron XI Elites. I can only imagine how much they'll cost. There is a rumor that the Lebron XI might cost $250. Elites might go to $260-$300.

Nikes pricing is insane. There's no rhyme or reason. No consistency. Retros are going up (Gamma 11 are $185, the Laneys were $170). Air Jordan 3 88s were $200. A 20+ year old shoe. I know Apple gets a lot of ish but their products generally stay close to the same pricing structure. The iPad is the same price after four years.

Got my black Marana and they are pretty nice. The inside isn't as squishy as I thought it'd be, but they look nice. They are a lot more snug (narrow?) than my other shoes. Also, the arch feels more "forward" on my feet. I have an 11 Etnies Fader, so I thought an 11 Etnies Marana would be good..not sure if I need to bump up a half.

J's are 200 here in Canada so with taxes they come up to about 225. The soleawesome pair was 280.

Local footlocker didn't have the n7s so I tried on the Texas pair. I just couldn't get over the asymmetrical look. Just not my cup of tea. The kds did feel narrow overall.

Also tried on the lebron 11 aways. Definitely look better on feet, but they were really crowded in the toe/forefoot area. I wanted to go up a 1/2 size but they didn't carry it. I think I'll just wait for these guys:

lol I haven't really given the Lebrons much thought since the 5s and 7s. But the more I see the Kings Pride, Terracottas, Gamma Blues, Miami Nights...I really want to get a pair or two and skip out on some of the Retros for a while.
