Question, Are replicas frowned upon in the sneakerhead community? I am by no means a sneakerhead but I want those Red Octobers and just want to cop a pair of replicas (Lord knows I won't get the real deal). Someone fill me in on the world of replica shoes? Quality? etc...

Really great quality on my pair as well, the soft leather on the sock liner is some of the best I've seen on a Jordan release. I just wish the black and infrared on the midsole would be swapped. Considering doing this to my pair:

I already have experience repainting shoes so I'll show you guys if I decide to go through with it.

Yeah, definitely frowned upon. Quality on replicas are garbage and literally use garbage materials, and it shows. Don't wanna get clowned on in public when you've got on a pair of fakes.

Ahh, so it's that pair lol. I was gonna jump on it earlier today but size 9 in 1s is a tad too small, 9.5 is perfect for me. I sold my Royal 1s, used, earlier this year and really regret it now. Looking for a pair but I think I'm gonna wait a while. Not sure if its the best idea but I think prices right now are inflated due to the Black/Red release hype. 475 isn't too bad but I'm looking to spend 400.

Since the Red Octobers haven't released officially, any pair you get right now is going to be grey market or outright counterfeit. I personally don't stress about what's on the next man's feet (if you like them, you like them), but I would never buy a pair myself. Truthfully, the chase is the funnest part sometimes with this hobby.

I'm hyped for them too. The pictures of the early release GS pairs that keep coming out look cappy, but some of the videos I've seen of full size pairs look great. Neck breakers without a doubt.

Wonder if they'll be a GR or more limited

I'm going for 2!! I love 3s. The color is better than any of the colors they dropped on 3s last year (just referring to the retro+ not the 88s).

And Shadow 1s are pretty hard to come by right now thanks to the Bred 1s. The prices of the BT, Shadows and Breds are all going up.

Hopefully, we get the Chicago color way this or next year with NA. The all red 1s look great.
