Make sure to save the dumps individually instead of overwriting them in the /dump/ folderHow should I go about hacking multiple consoles? My friends want me to do theirs.
Is everyone's kernel slightly different or does one size fit all?
Retroarch got an update fyi.

When I added my games, it automatically added them to a new folder, but I wanted to see all of the games on the main screen. Can I force my new games to appear with the originals?
.3a) Optional, but recommended if you aren't doing too many games. Go to Settings, Pages/Folders Structure and pick Disable. ("Too many games" means 63 or more. SNES Mini crashes if you have that many)
Got the Link to the Past Randomizer working on it with the Enemizer patch.

Retroarch 0.9 won't load any games on my mini with the latest Hakchi release. It just gives a black screen then goes back to the menu. I reverted back to 0.8 and it works fine.
I will give this a shot later, thanks.I'd suggest deleting the USB driver in Device Manager and reinstalling it when Hakchi2 prompts you to install it.
I used to have no end of USB issues on my last laptop, with it fucking with detecting my iPad. It would detect the iPad, but it wouldn't appear in iTunes etc. My fix each time was to do the above - delete the driver and reinstall.
I'll also try this, but I'm pretty sure I didn't have that module installed, but I'll try. Thanks.Disable the password module in hakchi.
Includes the 21...Does the 63 include the 21 games bundled with the system? Or would it be 84 total?
How do you alter the ROMs that come with the SNES Classic? I wanna replace Final Fantasy 3 with its actual Title Final Fantasy 6
How can I alter art and stuff for the original 21 games?
You need to FTP into the machine and browse to /usr/share/games/. There you will find the preinstalled CLV-P-xxxxx games. Download those to your PC. (Make sure to set your FTP client to transfer only 1 file at a time, the SNES Mini really hates more than that)
Now copy those folders to hackchi's /snes_games/ folders where your custom games are.
Now restart hakchi and you will see they appear as custom games too alongside previous ones you added, so you will want to deselect the original 21. Now you have copies that you can work with, such as changing their box art and thumbnails.
From the OT
Does Star Ocean work?
The OP and the program itself make this easy to do. This isnt the beta so messing it up will be pretty hard to do at this point...Is there a detailed video? I'm just worried about screwing up.
Messing around with making borders and made an SNES box one
Link is here if anyone wants to try it out
No it uses SDD-1 to compress graphics which isn't supported, so RetroArch is your only option.
regarding Alpha 2 but this was a few days ago

Just curious, but couldn't you flash anyone's original kernel to your own system? Is there something unique particular to your hardware?
SNES Classic does this natively, doesn't it? When you reset and create a save state, don't all those save states have time played stamps on them?Any possibility of hakchi adding a time played like steam?
I love it!
My favourite border yet
If you want to use other game types then you need to install retroarch...Ive heard of other stuff being used but dont know how reliable it is. If you want to restore back to default you just select the uninstall option and it will revert back...Whats with all those Kernel things? Can I use other game types than SNES games? Of yes, what types?
And how can I restore my SNES mini to factory defaults?
Thanks guys!
Whats this do? And how did you get it working?
I have a US Mini and a Super Famicom Mini.
If I dump the US kernel and then flash it to the Super Famicom, will that turn this machine into the US version?
I assume no but thought Iwould ask.

Try it and let us know.
I know the feeling, this weekend is gonna be so great!Got Star Ocean, Terranigma and Illusion of Gaia running flawlessly with Retroarch. Now I'm happy.
The SNES is just such a JRPG powerhouse, it's crazy.I know the feeling, this weekend is gonna be so great!
Does the folder names for the custom borders really need to have sequentials numbers?
I don't know where to find my kernel dump, because hakchi just seems to live as an executable on it's own and not in a folder of it's own?
