no, the developer is at fault... in any game, people will try to cheat, the dev is supposed to stop it, especially if there's a monthly fee...

Valve is doing a pretty good job of keeping cheaters under control, but I imagine it must cost a pretty penny to keep patching games every week or two.

Yes, but as I just investigated, you can still manage to completely fuck around the characters, including level and stat modding them, and duping weapons.

Yeah, Sonic Team really knows how to program netcode...
