Bubsy 3d is super fungame video game!! Just turn brain off and have a good, youll see!
I agree with this. I had no problems picking it up, granted doing his wonky jump the first time made me go "Woah what". The major control problems arise after the initial moments of getting Sonic to move.RobbieNick said:This game is very easy to pick up and play. It's the physics that are in question. Things like inertia when rolling into a ball or easily walking up a hill that are concerns.

I don't read Japanese and Babelfish mangles a lot of the text but it sounds like Naoto Oshima was at PROPE for some reason. They went out drinking later that night and Iizuka joined them.

Thank goodness I just bought NSMB DS too, which is at least fun and provides some training for the ugly difficulty called NSMB Wii.
jonnybryce said:I am not pleased with Sonic 4's changes/demo but I ended up buying it on PSN because I love Sonic and felt like I was the problem. I am not the problem and the game is pretty mediocre/bad but I found it challenging at times. There were some puzzles and boss fights that required a bit too much/skill/luck imo as well as stages where you had to jump carefully off of bouncey pinball launchers. I didn't find it suffered from "the game plays itself" problem.
Would still only give it a 1.5/5 though.
I'm a big Sonic-fan but I've played Sonic 4 after I've played Sonic Colours. Sonic 4 is absolutely awful. The controls are horrible, Sonic feels like a tank and never gets fast. He's slower than in the Mega Drive games even and doesn't accelerate fast enough. Too bad, because the level design actually is good. I'd love to play it with good physics / controls. They don't have to be like in the Mega Drive games, they just have to be good.Haunted said:Most of the Sonic fans seem to have migrated to the Sonic Colours thread after this trainwreck..
The physics don't feel like Sonic Rush's physics at all. Sonic Rush has really nice physics, even if you are going slow (slow of course doesn't mean Sonic 4 slow, that'd be really pushing it a bit ), this game is a huge disservice to Sonic and by far the worst Sonic game of 2010.Big One said:Whether or not you can finish the game, or land on the platform, doesn't say anything about the physics (good or bad). The physics apply to actual platforming experience. Sonic 4 has Sonic Rush physics, which only lend itself well to Sonic Rush since that game is basically a race-to-the-end type of game. Sonic 4 is the equivalent of putting those physics into a Mario game.

yes it's not the perfect example for SONIC4 .... but it's still a really good game (the HD ver of course)

At this point, Episode 2 would have to begin with Sonic waking up from a horrible nightmare.TheEastonator said:So, uh...where's Episode 2?

Last boss is pretty tough - at least, much moreso than the earlier ones, in my opinion. We can offer tips if you come across any really difficult parts.ChackanKun said:Great game! Very fun, although the last boss is driving me nuts!
