Funky Papa

FUNK-Y-PPA-4
Tig needs revenge.
Or at very least go down in flames and fucking everything and everyone around him.

It's gotta be
Opes.

Something tells me I'll be in a pissy mood tomorrow.

Edit: Oops.

Gotta be Tara. The impromptu wedding seals her fate. She serves no purpose on the show anymore. She's Gemma light and takes away form her screen time. Plus the additional making Jax go crazy thing will be a factor since he's had no reason to lose control as leader yet.

There's no threat to Tara right now. It's not her.

Opie's arc is complete. He's lost everything, and his last act will be more or less sacrificing himself to protect Jax.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Opie too. Chibbs would be a nice 'out of left field' death, but Opie's would have more resonance (and be the final nail in the tragic coffin that was his relationship with the Sons)

Well I'm finally up to date with the series. Love it, the fire-scene in the S5 Opener had me in awe like nothing ive seen in a while.
But I'm wondering why there are no Youtube-Moments of this show? You find great scenes of any show but this, how come? I mean, if its an old season i can understand why but not even "THE" 5x1 scene is to be found on the tube.

a lot of people I know who used to watch the show abandoned it after the abysmal third season. maybe others did the same and so it went unnoticed? I'm trying to get people who watched it before back into it, but it's hard. all they remember is the third season and emo jax, the baby and the horrifying irish accents.

That's the thing. I heared from all sides that s3 would be the worst thing imaninable so my expectations were 0. I found the season bearable and i also like me some irish accents and those incredibly cute irish girls. But yea, baby arcs NEVER work.

Here in germany most good series are under the radar but i take it sons is a hidden gem even in the states. hell, even in internet communities it seems to go by unmentioned, which is pretty weird for me. People always talk about the badness of walter white as a protagonist. Here we have an entire cast of antiheroes (only comparing the morality here, nothing else with the two series).

Sons is pretty huge here. It just doesn't have a huge internet (forum) presence because critics aren't super in love with it.

Edit: I just mean relative to something like Breaking Bad and Mad Men.

The waiting is the hardest part...

I wish the death of a character hadn't been spoiled, though. I would have much preferred to watch the episode and truly be surprised. But now I'm going to be guessing and expecting someone to die the entire time.

Yeah, I've seen some vague hints pointing towards a certain character and now I'm worried I already know. :/

Hope to be pleasantly surprised tonight though.

I'm really proud of this episode.

EDIT: I guess it's all good now: Yes, we kill someone tonight. Don't get spoiled, it's worth it.

Hey, sorry to ask as it may have been covered before, but it sounds like you work on the show? Have you ever shared what your work entails? No pressure if you want to be anonymous, just curious!

On another note, tonight is one of those cases I dislike being on Pacific time. I will have to avoid most internet activity for a couple hours. Then again that might not be a bad thing.

Yeah, I wish they wouldn't reveal stuff like this beforehand. I can understand why they do it and it's my own damn fault for paying attention to news surrounding the show, but it takes away some of the impact when they spoil it in advance.

I get the East Coast feed on DirecTV, so I get to watch SoA at 7pm. Much more reasonable to watch cable shows when they're shifted 3 hrs earlier. I don't know how some of you handle the Sunday night deluge of television that typically kicks off at 9pm.

Okay, see ya after the show people, won't be entering this thread before that.
You're the one that originally posted the article and now you're afraid of being spoiled. ;)

I won't be able to watch this live. Final prediction that I'm sticking to:

Clay dies. For multiple reasons I think it will happen. I have doubts but no one else would be big imo, and at the same time be realistic (as in Tig/Tara/etc... not being realistic).

So yeah. Clay. DEALWITHIT. Then again they haven't voted whether he stays or goes yet...meh whatever, sticking by it.

The annoying thing about EW.com is that whenever a character on a show dies, that night they have a cover story with a headline like, "Hear from (actor) on tonight's huge shocker!" It's always so obvious what they're referring to.

So, yeah - everyone avoid EW.com until after seeing the episode.

I'll have to remember to not check my RSS feeds for Hitfix, AV Club, etc. either.

Wow, I stick my head in this thread for the first time and that's the post I see. Thanks a bunch.

Tonight's episode is either going to make me really happy or really depressed.

It's been discussed for pages.

Sutter mentioned it twitter numerous times, it's been in all the promos and all over TV news sites.
