I wish they hadn't done the CG and just cut to the bread.

Yeah, the CG was horribad. For a shot that important, they either needed to go all in and pay for it to look good, or not do it at all

The homeless woman, who has appeared many times over the years, is explained here. Short version: she's the ghost of a woman who was also killed in the John Teller motorcycle accident.

Definitely should've coughed up the money to make it not look like shit. Could've also used a different shot. If they would've done it from a side view, then it wouldn't have looked so goofy.

I was disappointed in how the finale ended, just because I expected it to have much more action. Jax getting away with shooting someone outside a courthouse is just ridiculous in every way.

It was a decent finale. It certainly felt a bit rushed, but it could've been worse. The problem is that this series went on too long, it all felt like it went out with a whimper as the series declined in quality. Still was decent, nowhere near as bad as Dexter. And yes, the CG was terrible. That was a big mistake to close the series out on.

Also, are they still going forward with that SOA prequel series? I heard they were gonna set it during the 60s-70s with a young JT, Clay, and Gemma.

Watched a few minutes of Afterword and turned it off. Where is the radio dude from the past few weeks? At least he was competent. Sutter can't host for shit.

Right. I think it was an appropriate way for the series to end, but it should've happened a few years ago. Oh well, we'll always have Season 2.

I think they again mentioned the possibility of doing a prequel miniseries during this year's Comic Con panel, but Sutter is going to be busy with The Bastard Executioner before he gets to that.

I hope Sutter takes a break or something. His work was fantastic on The Shield, and the first few seasons of SOA are top notch.

Yeah, I didn't know he had another TV series going. Just looked it up, it sounds kinda interesting. I know he has a movie coming up, but it'll certainly be interesting to see what his take on medieval period will be like.

But yeah, the first four seasons were pretty great. I know S3 gets some hate, but it had a really great ending that totally made up for its previous episodes. Season 4 in particular was my favorite, when Clay really turned into a real piece of shit. It was good stuff.

this season was the weakest.

everyone trusts jax no matter how many times he has fucked people over

jax kills whoever he wants and never gets caught

jax isnt his usual smart self and is easily fooled

jesus jax

I think Sutter really wanted to end the show in 4 or 5 seasons but decided to keep going for the money. The finale always felt like it was supposed to be Clay vs Jax to me. Also so much of this season was wasted on pointless bullshit before we finally got to the meat of the season these last few episodes.

All things considered, given where the series had gone, I thought the finale was alright. The end was super dumb and they went a little far with the fakeouts, but it could have been worse. At least Nero and Wendy got out and away. And Chibs being the pres is cool. I don't know. I was kind of expecting the worst and didn't think it was so bad. Shame the series dropped off so far in quality the last few years. Really good in the beginning.

I enjoyed the end. Could of done without the scene of Jax headed into the truck. I think the scene following with the bread and the blood would of been better.

loved the finale and how everything went down but good lord how did nobody nix that CGI shit. there's a million different ways they could've shown jax going out and all of them would've been better.

bahahaha, the last scene was so bad it was good. the cgi, the music, the crows, the panning in and out, chiklis, LOL it was all so hilariously bad that I loved it. Final scene aside it was actually a decent finale to a shit season. It provided a lot of closure to a show that was once addictingly great.

i think it's dumb that Jax never found out the truth about Gemma's involvement with JT's death. That was a major plot line for an entire season.

I was with Sutter up until the police chase and ending. That CG was so bad holy shit. If that is how you are going to end it at least make it look good.

This show got worst as time went and saw ending coming even before the season started .
Still not a bad ending considering the last 2 endings i saw for shows were dexter and true blood now those were awful , stupid etc etc endings

love on your sleeve
*sigh*

That was a copout ending but I could see it coming as the episode unfolded. Sutter loves Jax too much to let him go out any other way.

I will say as bad as this show got at points, I'll still miss it just a bit.

Why did they feel the need to break up Chibbs and the sheriff? Last time we saw them they were fucking on the hood of the police car as far as I remember. Atleast Nero and Wendy get a someone happy ending.

As on the nose as the montage music choices have been lately, I am shocked - SHOCKED - that Sutter didn't use a cover of Soundgarden's "Jesus Christ Pose" for the ending. Goodbye SOA, you were never as good as Season 2 led me to hope, but the sheer fuckery was somewhat entertaining.

So Jax asked Gemma for the manuscript last week, only to burn it right away? What was the point of that, or did I miss him hand it off to someone else? With movie-length running times, I never see everything that happens.

I'm okay with the premise of the ending -- Jax going out like his old man -- but the execution of it was pure amateur hour, from the shitty CGI, to the terrible editing, to the symbolic imagery overload. A hack job if I've ever seen one.

Not sure if I'll be back for Sutter's new series, the Executioner or whatever it's called. His work on the Shield made me interested in SOA, but the last few seasons of SOA has really soured me.

No he burned J.T.'s manuscript, along with his own diaries, to kill the mystique and myth, and reduce himself to what he had discovered himself to ultimately be ... nothing but a criminal and a killer.

But Abel has the ring from Gemma, which still leaves it all open for Sutter to revive the series in 15 years ... Grandsons of Anarchy.

So Happy took a bullet to the arm... why? So Jax could have a chance to kill himself? Is he really such a coward that he insists Chibs shoot a club member rather than face Mayhem? Or did they think they were giving him a chance to escape? If so why the tearful Mayhem vote? Nothing about this final fakeout makes any sense

I liked the ending. Show should've ended a few years ago tho. Being a Shield fan made it better.

Season overall was terrible.

If this ended pre-Breaking Bad, it would have gotten better reactions to the ending.

Not sure of the Jesus pose hate, the whole show had religious themes and Jax was the only person who "didn't believe" but still talked to and saw dead people.

I don't regret my time with the show like I did Dexter.

Tig is one of my all-time favorite secondary characters now.

Redwood original.

Jax and Chibs came up with the plan. Chibs had to at least sell it like it was a legit mayhem vote to solidify his status. Then Im assuming he filled them in on the real plan.

Our fearless leader Jax knew his boys didnt want to do it but they needed an out with the other clubs so thats why they shot Happy. It had to look like he escaped before he could meet Mayhem.

It sets the club up under Chibs and he could go out how he wanted to.

Thats how i saw it.

I enjoyed the finale, but the season as whole was very weak.

That last scene would have had a lot more impact (no pun intended) if they didn't use such obvious cg.
