Sony E3 press conference; June 10th 6PM PT/9PM ET

Work from hime Monday and see Microsoft conference live, and struggle with Sony's due to 6AM get out of bed time..

OR

..Miss the Microsoft conference live and work from home Tuesday, meaning I can watch Sony conference... Hmm

I think it's clear what could be done with this, Kaz taking a shit inside the cooler marked with an X on the side. Cerny, Tretton and some other Sony guys watching from the bushes and Reggie, Balmer and Mattrick drinking beers on the beach. It could be used the other way around, if MS delivers on May 21st.

This is it folks, this is the big one. It's events like this that make staying up at ungodly hours of the night a borderline art form. If you hear me screaming at the top of my lungs at 3AM in the morning, that's just because The Last Guardian has been re-revealed for the PS4.

Well, E3 and TGS are the two places where Gravity Rush 2 have the best shot of showing up. That's actually a pretty big deal for the Vita, at least in Japan. Plus we know Sony Bend have been working on a new Vita game.
 
It's good because I don't have to get up in the morning on three separate days for the conferences. Instead it'll all be on the one day.

We need new stuff people....and I'm not very good at photoshop :p...so I'll let other others do this lol.

Anyway, the darn conferences are just days before my wedding! I'll be too busy to see them all :(

Guess I'll have to watch them at random point over the next 2-3 days. Will have to stay off these forums till then!

That was one of the first kazification GIFs created in the PSMeeting thread [~page 60-70], it pushed GAF community over the edge to create all the other gifs...
 
The only PS3 game I think really should be on PS4 also is GT6.

If GT6 launches on PS3 with no PS4 version, from a marketing point of view it's a bit of a mixed signal. GT is the definition of a premium franchise, it should always be on the flagship.

Sony always has its conference in this timeframe [1-3 AM EU time].

I honeslty would be very surprised if GT6 was ps3 only.

At this point I just want to see what else they can come up with. The usual blockbusters are a given any way. Its the new games that take you by surprise.

This gen for example, Demons souls came out of no where, then we have valkeria chronicles, Uncharted, Journey, Flower and other that are still to be released.

Its the unexpected, that makes things more exciting.

While I would agree with this sentiment after the last few years (and apply that to MS and Nintendo as well), I think the circumstances of this years conference are just a touch different.

That's my worry too, if they don't leak new PS4 games and other related stuff till E3 I might consider waking up at 3AM, but if they do, why should I even bother? GAF will be unavailable most of the time anyway.

I still don't think they'll have multiple major reveals at E3,I think they'll announce all the big games right before it.

Indeed. Whatever Sony employee suggested that they save the big guns for E3 needs a goddamn raise.

COD:Ghosts alone attracted a HELL of a lot attention to MS.

Then once it's over, hit 'em where it hurts.

This time they're releasing a new console though. I mean let's take a glimpse at history

Vita first released 17th December 2011, Europe got it 22nd February 2012

PS3 first released 11st November 2006, Europe got it 23rd March 2007

PSP first released 12nd December 2004, Europe got it 1st September 2005

etc. etc.

If they were serious about a worldwide launch they would have the conference at a manageable timeframe for their (most?) important market. Expect another Europe focused conference early 2014 to prepare for the PAL launch.

None of these companies need a "Big E3 press conference" anymore. At all. These companies need to wake up and do what Nintendo is doing now. It's cheaper, people can watch it anytime they want after it's uploaded, and it cuts out the 3 ring circus of "ooooo what'd they announce?" "They announced this!" "No they didn't!" "Yes they did!". Everyone can be on the same page with the Direct approach. This damn E3 show needs to end. The only ones who care if this show happens anymore are hard core gamers throwing priorities to hell and taking days off from their jobs and journos just wanting a free trip and damn booze every year. In fact I'm very disappointed the industry is bending over ass backwards and giving you people what you want, yet again. E3 made sense 20, 25 years ago, it doesn't now. It's pointless thanks to the Internet. Nintendo got the right idea and I pray all these other companies get the memo real soon. E3 is going to either end completely in the next few years or take on a totally different form, the only group I can understand still needing meetings for is the retailers. That's it, this 3 ring circus of a show needs to be done with and all the gaming companies need to start taking Nintendo's example. I hope sincerely this year is it.

Or they expect to host conferences at both GamesCom and Tokyo Game Show which will be at better timeframes for Europe and Japan? Unlike Microsoft and Nintendo they always have held press conferences at both events.

E3 is the shit man. I have no faith. Surely PS4 will debut there also but it's not the same anymore. The veil has been lifted.

With your premission, I would like to put those dates in other order:

PSP first released 12nd December 2004, Europe got it 1st September 2005
10 months

PS3 first released 11st November 2006, Europe got it 23rd March 2007
5 months

Vita first released 17th December 2011, Europe got it 22nd February 2012
3 months

As you can see, the months between launches are smaller in every Sony console. That is why I still hope this time we can see a worldwide launch.
