Nah. I lined up about 3 hours ahead of time and by then only 50 or so people were in line. By the time the line started moving, there were so much more people, though.
So I don't think anyone was waiting there for too long.

Well you'd certainly think so when it was the only one of two games to show any gameplay on stage.
Dunno about compelling but supposedly new IP from SSM and GG are most likely incoming. Mayyyyyybe the GG one will be Gamescom?
Having nothing at their E3 last year is an absolutely fine trade-off for a great PS4 launch line up. For me at least.
I will require a premium custom Knack skin that replaces his face with Cerny's.

the knack gameplay they showed looked very shallow

well that's the point cerny was trying to make at the ps meeting.
E3 is mainly aimed at the "industry" and the hardcore fans.
I think most hardcore fans will recognize that even if they aren't playing the PS4 version at E3, it will be present when it's released. I don't think this is that big of a problem.

Sony already have a price set in stone, they'll reveal it at E3 - I think we know by now that it's them who are setting the pace this coming generation, they don't need to take a wait and see approach with MS.

I think platformers might make a comeback next gen. I mean they kinda already have but it has been very much the later years of this gen with the exeption of Mario. Now that the indies are a big thing from the start this will only be more apparent since platformers seem to be quite popular for indies.
Just gotta hope Legends and Puppeteer do well enough.

PS2 was like the first 1st party game that we knew was coming to PS4.
Also that helghast could give some Nomura characters a run for their money.

MS is bribing all media.
They want to control the media(at least the US) as much as possible to make people buy their console.
This is very apparent to me at least.
They are becoming extremely greedy/evil corporation.

It is unfortunate but good thing that type of media is less and less important for the type of consumers who are looking to buy a next gen console in the first year or so. After that it might be more ugly if they still are at it.

The fook is wrong with you?!!? Game is classic! I beat it 3 times on PS1...Mucho respect for remembering the last Samurai on PS one'-) I think it was reviewed favorably as well. Not as popular as Legend of Dragoon or Vagrant story, but still made some splashes, they did a sequel for it I believe.
I don't...Not to be biased, (kinda impossible not to be) but MS fans seemed to be very western oriented and that's what the Xbox (especially first party wise) seemed to cater to. Not to mention this whole voice chat thing being completely blown out of proportion, I mean, I like to game with friends, but It's not that big of a deal, and it was all the rage this gen. X-game chat, achievements, Dashboard. I'm like wtf is this?! I don't care about some arbitrary challenges devs put into there games as an after thought to the game. On top of that, the Xbox supporters mostly seemed to be interesting in a system that plays the games they want rather than fans of MS. I think there's probably a lot more fans for Nintendo and Sony because of there in-house IP's. MS fans are just sad there favorite consoles successor seems to be dry out of the gate, they aren't going out and supporting it for $600 Just because you believe in the company. No, that's only for idiots like me.
