Playing LOL with a controller will be the most boring thing ever.
Worse, it sounded like a multiplayer only FPS... which sounds just super unappealing.
Seems like the studio that made A4O and Q-Force is likely making a game to tie in to the film in 2015. Here's hoping it's a traditional one...
It would amuse me if the FUSE team is working on the MS game, and the team comprised of a decent chunk of R&C veterans is working on the Sony game.

Well, we have Destiny and Titan, so somebody is probably going to have to produce Gods or maybe up the epic and release a Big Bang.

Seriously. They should just stick to Ratchet and Clank. Everything else they did this Gen has been generic and mediocre.
To be honest even if the Nextbox is more powerful than the PS4, Sony's party games will still look better. Power isn't everything, Having a dev team that can take advantage of that power is what's important and we all know Sony's first party are some of the best in the industry.
What I'm most concerned about is Sony's online community, They really need to focus on building that. PSN just seems so lifeless when compared to Steam and Xbox Live. I really hope they get it right this time around.

I'm sure you're excited for it regardless what it actually is though.
Actually the last two games on PS3 from their Burbank studio are some of the best to come out on the system.
I just generally don't pick up multiplayer only games... I enjoy a single player campaign, regardless of length. That's why I play the CoD games from time to time

I dunno, I think there is a spec bump especially if the console costs 499. I fully expect PS4 to be cheaper and I doubt Kinect 2 would be THAT expensive to make or MS being that desperate to make profit right from the start.

Geenral rule, don't play ranked, you'll hear ALOT less bitching if you don't. Or alternatively play DOTA2. Their low ranking community is just as lost as you and they really don't give too many fucks. Unless your intention is to learn and get better...then you'll probably be pissed.

All rumors point to yes, I wouldn't go touting the horns just yet. I'm not going to say the stupid idea that MS went back and made their system more powerful after they saw Sony's press conference. As I stated in the Durango thread, only dolts who have absolutely no understanding of engineering and manufacturing and are basically wikipedia/beyond3D quote grabbing programmers suggest something like that. However I will say there is/was nothing stopping MS from going in a different direction with their hardware back towards the end of 2011 entering 2012 opposite from the leaks that presented themselves. I'd say keep expectation tempered, but who knows.
I lost a lot of faith in their Burbank studio when they took a genuinely interesting art style and turned it in to something bland and uninteresting. Extremely worrying if that's what Insomniac thinks they need to do to their games to sell to a wider audience.

Don't bother with MOBA at all if you can't take the aggressive/unfriendly community. Sadly I'm one of them for the past 3-4 years. It's the competitive nature in these games that brings out the worst of people.

If you never cared for Ratchet and Clank, then how were they any good in the early PS2 days... Because that's all they release during that period... LOL you don't even know wth you are talking about jez.
I only like the original R&C. They made it too complex and shooter-y and took away a lot of the simplicity and charm.

I am wondering what kind of surprises we can expect? Final Fantasy XV might happen, Kojima still hasn't said anything about PS4, Namco is kinda dead (although I really want Ace Combat 7), who else they got in Japan?
Everyone since MS is inexistant there (also WiiU).
I bet MGSV will be on PS4, no idea if it will be exclusive in any way.
Bar Capcom, but they may still put in an appearance with something that isn't DR3.

That's a sad proposition, considering how relevant and important the series is today: But the last "Riiiidge Racer!" hasn't been spoken yet!
Personally, I think that series is done. However, DR1 was a great next gen showpiece when there wasn't much out. DR3 could have that same effect.
I'd reckon, aside from Mistwalker, many JP developers will make games exclusively (timed or otherwise) for PS4.
Then he can say goodbye to Japan.

I think you could make a competent moba for consoles from the ground up, but I don't think you could effectively port an existing one.
Highly unlikely, the specs seem pretty clear this late: PS4 is going to lead quite handily.
Even more unlikely, especially with Kojima's titles selling more on PS3 in general and him being pretty close to Sony.

But in a less trolling POV I think it is good for Insomniac to branch out. They have reached a creative dead end with Sony and clearly things didn't go to plan with EA.
I dont want another generic shooter from Insomniac, I want something that has the style and uniqueness of R&C but made exciting again. Overstrike was basically exactly that before it got EA'ed.
I just want Insomniac to make something exciting again regardless of platform.

I kinda expect MGSV to be on Sony presser next gen version shown for the first time. Dunno if exclusive but I can totally see them doing the MGS+FF one two punch for old PS crowd.
MGS4 is prolly still seen as the single game that started the PS3 rise from the grave at Sony too.
