Free even with no PS Plus

Unless you claimed it on PS Plus before. You can't "own" it now.

That's lame, so if you happen to be a better sony customer you don't get to actually own it, meanwhile non ps plus supporters get it for free. Nicely done.

I just went to the web store and it let me "buy" it and add it to my library.

Pretty sure Sony sorted out the whole multiple licenses thing and now allows you to buy games that you got on Plus.

Edit: Earlier it would only let me download the PS+ one. Now it let me add it to my library.

Yep, can confirm it works for ps+ owners as well.

Maybe they fixed the issue finally.

The game is pretty good.... it would make me want to play the new one.
If it wasn't $70 I'd pre-order it but as it is I will pick it up when the price is more reasonable.

You know this is absolutely amazing...

...for people new to PlayStation or didn't buy the game when it came out.

Platinumed this yesterday coincidentally. It's a great romp. I would say that I think Into the Nexus and A Crack in Time are a little better in terms of replayability when going for the plat, but this is still a class game. Insomniac are Sony's number 1 IMO.

Was a fun game. My first HDR game when it released. Made my realize I should have fronted on all the old games in the franchise back then.

Bought and platted this already years ago. Think it was actually the game that re-envirgorated my love for trophy hunting after years of not bothering.

Wrong, just claimed it.

Jup you can claim it again. The PS Plus license will likely change so you own the game right now, even without PS Plus. I had this game already on disc, but i will likely finish it some day with the digital version i had with PS+ PS5 collection.

Personally I found the game annoying in some places and I didn't go for the platinum despite it being a reasonably easy one. It sure has nice graphics and the characters are likeable.
