- You can let your friend play a game to maybe convince him to get it too (I did that with Evolve, for example)
- You can play couch-coops together, even if the other person does not have the game and is miles away
- You can share your screen with your party without having possibly everyone else on Live on Playstation watch
- You can let someone help you beat a certain part of a game you can't beat (Venom Hot Lap comes to mind)
The only thing I could clearly remember was the shared screen business and letting your friend play for you. Both of those sound completely useless to me, bit the couch co-op does sound interesting. The hour limitation seems a bit unnecessary, though.
I didn't mean that Sony was doing absolutely nothing, but after all this time, I'm not feeling like they're trying as hard as they could be.
Remote play seems great, despite me not having a vita to use it. Share play co-op sounds great, so long as it works as well as it needs to.
It's not hard to see that this generation is revolving highly around social experiences. While there's nothing wrong with that, so long as it's done well, it doesn't have much of an impact on me.
I was raised a single child, I play most of my games by myself, and I was born too early to understand the mentality behind sharing screenshots on social media. I would personally like to see Sony add some features that a single person can benefit from and enjoy.
Maybe that sounds crazy, but from where I stand, it does seem like they're not doing much of interest.
Excuse the typos, I'm on my phone.
