I'm really excited about this. I didn't like Spidey in Civil War, which tells me I'm not going to like the new movies with him either, so all my hopes for my favorite super hero is with this game and this version of the character.

I was very negative in the Sony thread due to hype reasons and Red Dead, but know I processed everything, this game might be my Game of Show. The game looks absolutely amazing!

MGR and Transformers are both fantastic. They don't have the scope of, say, Bayonetta, but they had a fraction of its budget and dev time, so...

No informed person doubts Platinum's ability to deliver quality games given adequate resources. You get what you pay for.

Korra was okay, it was just lacking in the story department and it was repetitive but for $14.99 it was forgivable. Transformers was enjoyable. But we all now how TMNT turned out, maybe it should have been priced like Korra.

Metal Gear Rising is not a licensed game. I played and liked both of those games. platinum does not have a perfect track record and I don't subscribe to the notion that any game they make will be great

Yeah, no thanks. I actually want there to be a chance for MvC4 to happen in the near future. But given the whole Fox ban, I don't think Marvel would give the keys to the whole kingdom to anyone in fear that they may include characters that Marvel doesn't want them to include (Ex: Wolverine or Deadpool).

I just want Sony in charge of the third person action games. Imagine a world where Sony devs had free access to the Marvel characters. I can think of worse things.

The budget constraints are apparent in the length of the campaign and the fairly barebones environments. The gameplay is some of Platinum's best though, and as a Transformers fan I can confirm that they understood the essence of the property to a frankly shocking degree. The tone, voice acting, and music are perfect.
