Iran apparently was planning to attack U.S. forces on German soil. According to Attorney General Harald Range is a suspicion. An investigation was initiated.

Hamburg / Karlsruhe - The Attorney General determined because of possible attack plans against Iran, U.S. armed forces in Germany. The attorney general said on Thursday Harald Range in Karlsruhe. There was a suspicion that - in case of attack the U.S. on Iran - Tehran facilities would attack the U.S. Army in Germany. "We have launched an investigation and cause operational measures," said Range.

The head of the Federal Criminal Police, Jörg Ziercke stressed that there was no immediate danger. For more details and range with no shared Ziercke.

Previously, the "Bild" newspaper had reported that the Iranian regime wanted in the case of a U.S. attack, attack the U.S. military airfields in Germany, supplies and logistics in order to disrupt the army. The federal prosecutor's investigation into the "suspicion of espionage activities for sabotage purposes," it said. On 2 November had been ordered to search the house.

The USA operates in Ramstein one of their biggest military bases worldwide are processed through the essential parts of the supplies and logistics for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq in the Palatinate. In a large hospital in the nearby Landstuhl wounded soldiers to be supplied from the field. Both facilities are secured hard.

I mean I would believe it if they said that Iran had nukes, they have the scientists, facilities, and tech to get them. Don't think they will. But honestly...I just don't care. If they get they get em, and then it becomes their neighbors' problem.

Are you fucking kidding me? They would have had a democratic election. Just because they don't elect the candidate you want doesn't mean it's a failure. I honestly think that we (the US) can work with theocratic Muslim governments. It can be done. But the first step is to stop saying that theocratic muslim governments are illegitimate.

Second bring these governments (for the sake of this post it's Iran since that's what we're talking about) into the international community. As long as these governments don't try and force their faith on other nations then who cares? And maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the Ayatollah is trying to evangelize neighboring countries.

As for it being bases in Germany, it's not surprising, because it would be nearly impossible for Iran to attack the actual US.

Unless they use those really old subs they claimed they were going to have hang out just off the US coast, that certainly wouldn't immediately be obliterated by the attack groups shadowing them.

i was born on a US military base in Germany. sadly i don't have any sort of dual citizenship, because US army bases count as american soil. so an iranian assassination plot on (essentially) US territory? goodbye ayattollah fuckface. that'd just be too stupid, even for them.
