A lot of the videos and games being shown off are supposed to be a lot longer than normal. I know that thief thing is supposed to be like 15 minutes long...supposedly. They're going to stretch this out as long as possible.

it's okay as long as the production and execution are well-made. again, it just seemed like the sched was quite barren. it's not that i'm expecting surprises, but i'm expecting more than just tomb raider or south park (again). if watch_dogs is being previewed yet again, i might pull all my hair out.

I don't think GAF will die this time. Last year Dark Souls 2 killed GAF for a few minutes, there doesn't seem to be any bombastic reveals tonight.

Pretty much anyone that loved jrpgs on the PS2 era of gaming. That game reminded me the days of Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, Dragon Quest 8 and a slew of others.

And I picked it without looking back.

Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy and Ni No Kuni are all great games

Rogue Galaxy has probably been the hardest JRPG I have ever played. I don't think I made it out of one battle without using a revive on a party member. Level 5 really do know how to make their games difficult, which is a good thing.

Yeahhh in a year with Shin Megami Tensei IV, Etrian Odyssey IV and Pokemon X/Y it's pretty nuts that Ni no Kuni won. That game is gorgeous but it's deeply flawed.

I feel like it won just so they could do that stand up gag in the award video :lol.
