The game is just cheated me on Moray Towers. Not only do they put me against a superior team, but someone on my tam always disconnects.

Second Tower Control session for me since launch thanks to the rule rotation. Also whoever use Aerospray MG in this mode didn't want to win at all. Please, to all squids who never played Splatoon 1, do your teammates a favor, don't use Aerospray in Tower Control and Rainmaker.

Aerospray is good on objective modes to take back territory when the other team is focused on the objective, keeping the objective area your color in a fight, and can be a pain in the arse to get off the tower. You can also outmaneuver Lunas in their desired range.

Aerospray with mines was my goto Tower Control weapon (S/S+).

Hate the player, not the weapon.

This goes essentially all day right? Until 9PM PST/12AM EST? Stuck at work on a slow, boring, rainy day and can't wait to get out of here and go play. Unfortunately no shot of me getting to leave early since I'm in charge of things here today so just gotta wait as it drags on before I can join up with my fellow Team Ketchup people.

Well, it happened. I lost because my team were morons. I wiped three members of the team several times and they managed to screw it. I also had the second highest score, outcome two rapid fire weapons.

Arrg.

I did my part, #TeamMayo. 24-13. Wacha gonna do, #TeamCatchUp? Gonna rest up a bit to take on some Salmon Run.

i know its only splatfest turf war but man...losing in the last 10 seconds due to horrible team mates is so bad. i feel like if i die the entire match is just doomed. feels bad man.

My thoughts
Definitely not as good as the first game. Some levels, particularly near the end, were just flat out terrible. I also couldn't shake this feeling that some stages were heavily lifted from the first game's campaign, which I didn't appreciate. I didn't like getting around the Hubs that much,
either. While it was a feature in the first game, getting around using the Menu after I had found the stages was something I felt I had to use here. It was annoying and tedious.

As for the Final Boss, not as good as the first. There really isn't much to be said about that other than I was disappointed in why Callie was there.

So I think I'd rate it a 7/10 where the first game's Campaign was an 8.5/10 for me. I'm not going for 100% here. The Stages that I'd need to go back to isn't stuff I'm looking forward to, honestly; and that's why I won't.

Love Salmon Run even though I think it ramps up too quickly and scales improperly if someone drops, love the Multiplayer but I'm not a Multiplayer guy.

Overall the game is an 8/10 for me. Same as the first game, but a worse campaign which is what I'm here for as well as Salmon Run, which I love.

We just got stomped by a ketchup team running aero/slosher/bucket.

Washers.

Running aero ATM since I'm in handheld mode and can't play for shit like that, but I'm so fucking tired of seeing trisloshers everywhere. Between that and random lag I'll be safe behind a wall or dodged out of a shot and still die all the time.

well this config of shifty station is not really my fave, at least in turf war. I think the nature of it discourages a centralised battle arena which means it's pretty much a map where you either gank or be ganked.

I know, I know. I've seen some skillful Aerospray user in Splatoon who kicked my ass hard, but seeing Aerospray MG in low rank is nightmare. That's why I wish newbies don't bring it to rank simply because it's good in turf war or splatzone.

Thats what more maps need.

Feels so good to be able to play so many matches today.

Got up to Champion for Mayo with 5 loses. I'm not sure if I want to go for King/Queen, but I think I've at least contributed. Go Mayo!

Also did some Salmon Run which is my favourite mode. Played two new modes (valves, crates w/ the alien mothership) and no one knew what to do for the longest time. Can't help but feel that the developers could've done more to explain these wave types.

FINALLY!

I won at Moray Tower.

.....it was against another Mayo team -_-. But I don't even care. I have been taking nothing but Ls from that level since Splatfest started. And I got my highest win average of 33/17. Thank you for giving me a break, game.

So what's everyone's opinion on Shifty Station?

It's pretty cool looking. An ok map, nothing that would make me say "Man I wish this was a normal map!"

When the platforms move there's some stuttering, which is really strange. This game on a technical level is really strange...

That's why I like it. You really have to utilize the map and look for paths to sneak down.

Apparently it's possible to splashdown to your death if the platform starts moving.

Shifty Station might be my favorite map. :-O

There's something thrilling about slipping onto a moving platform at the last sec to escape someone in hot pursuit.

Also, the moving terrain means the two teams are constantly being split up, grouped together, isolated, etc.

I wonder if it might get added to the normal rotation at some point?

man, they made splatfests so much better

the maps rotate like normal, there's a splatfest exclusive map, salmon run is open to mix it up, and there are multiple tracks that play during matches

Hopefully, would be a shame if it stays Splatfest exclusive.
