I've had issues between matches and even booted from 2 matches. Only started happening with the splatfest - I had zero issues the rest of the week before it started. It's been pretty bad, and matches take noticeably longer to find players as well.

No I mean its too good. It has speed, power, range, mobility and good ink drainage. Its not a balanced weapon.

Big probably and they better perform both ingame then in the main hub! A new Squid Sisters Feat. Off the Hook song.

And give the Squid Sisters some animation love too like Off the Hook got to bring em up to date animation wise.

I faced a level 49 Mayo player who was no good at all. Worst results counting both teams and when facing him you could tell he had no idea what he was doing. How did he get to that level so fast playing like that?!?
 
Why can't this game have a mini map? It was alright in the first game since you could just look down. It'd be a lot easier to cover ground in turf war if I knew where everyone was without having to cover my screen

Is it really good on ink usage? Because whenever I use it it drains like like a son of a bitch.

Everything else you wrote is true though. It's so easy to get kills that you really shouldn't be able to get with a melee weapon. I still wouldn't recommend it for Turf War just because it's not that great at putting down ink, and God forbid the game pair you with people that can take advantage of kills.

Its better than it should be. And its really easy to fix its that anyway with just one easily obtained piece of gear.
 
Tommorow going to a few friends who also own a switch they only got mariokart and zelda but i will show em some Splatoon 2 goodness, so that they might buy Splatoon if they like it:P

This happened to me a lot but I never lost progress from it or anything, just slowed me down getting into the next match a little so it wasn't too bad.

This ain't over yet. With the new scoring system, I wouldn't be surprised if Ketchup won teams to win the Splatfest 2-1.

Damn though. If we lose, I'll honestly he more happy that all the morons I played with lost them upset I lost. Some matches today were just miserable.

I like the idea of them all working together but If anything it will be Off the Hook Feat. Squid Sisters, haha!
 
Oh ok so now this is happening huh, now my own teammates are purposely throwing the match by being AFK. First OW and now Splatoon?

They get like 2 kills and then go AFK by sitting in spawn.

Fuck this shit.
 
Love the core gameplay of this but imo it just needs lots more content. The maps are already getting old as are the extremely short matches and the way the ranked matches can be over inside 90 seconds.

I've yet to play more than the first couple of single player levels but they were very fun so far. The co op mode is great but again gets old fast.

The multiplayer part has the makings of a very good online shooter but needs major changes to game types with many more maps to hold my attention more than a couple of weeks.

A game I'll keep and return to in a year when it will hopefully have many more maps and game modes.

I'm definitely going to finish the single player mode.
 
I'm one of the few who really like the short matches. Gives me more time to play and less time to finish.

With Overwatch I have to wait til the match ends and that could go from 6 to 10 minutes at times.
 
This game is so addicting and hard to put down. The formula of having these super quick but intense 3 minute battles is just crack. And there's just something that just feels good about the act of painting the stages in itself, maybe it's because I'm a bit OCD, but few games feel as rewarding as when you're able to ink with precision a huge part of the map yourself while taking out baddies and getting back their turf.

This game is so well thought out, it's crazy.

It's like when I hand over my game to my 6 and 8 year olds. I'm not great, but they are definitely worse. =)
 
Fighting on team ketchup is like grinding your teeth on an apple filled with rocks. A lot of effort going to the garbage because your team isn't capable of holding down other parts of the map.
 
Gah! I have to vent for a minute damn it. When the first Splatoon came out my gf bought a WiiU so we could play together. It is her favorite game. All she wants to do is some regular matches together. Come to find out we can't really play with eachother. Now Splatoon 2 is the same shit. Can't play together. I join her in a regular match and it pits us against eachother FAR more than not. Now splatfest comes and it looks like we can join as a team. GREAT! Finally! Except not. Unlike Salmon Run, apparently teams of two can't be a team. It doesn't say you can't be a team mind you. It just let's you sit there in your team of two and never play. SWEET!! :|

How about at least using the " join a friend " option like regular matches? Oh wait that doesn't work in Splatfests? Awesome...

This game is really starting to piss me off. Which sucks because I love it but fuck you Nintendo for makingg a multiplayer game where is damn near impossible to play with my own girlfriend!! #middlefinger
