The Reef is such a clutch for horrible players. I've had two games in a row where a teammate refused to jump down from the safe ledge.
EDIT: Moray Towers. 3 teammates run into enemy territory, get splatted, and I'm the last line of defence between 4 enemies and our base. Ugh.

It's fine as long as you focus on what it is good at, killing chum and small fry, running eggs, and melting certain bosses like Scrappers and Stingers.
I notice a lot of people really underestimate the importance of keeping the chum and small fry under control. They are the #1 (indirect) cause of my deaths mainly due to messing me up when a boss is in close proximity.

Yeah, maybe the Goo Tuber is the only bad one right now in Salmon Run. The others aren't bad, but maybe people just can't use them well, or at least whoever I'm getting matched with.
The comic relief currently playing Turf War has helped speed my recovery today.

Salmon Run. 30 eggs collected from wave 1 and 2. Wave 3 arrives, it's at night. Doing well, only 10 more seconds to go... team wipe
- If squelchers count as snipers then do gals count, too? Blasters? What chaos are you trying to bring to weapon classification
- They do if they're on the enemy team instead

I got a pro controller yesterday and, only in Splatoon 2 mind you, I have this issue where it acts like certain buttons are being held down. For example, when I go the weapon menu, the cursor will constantly go to the left. I looked it up and it seems like other people have had this exact issue and it is an issue with the game itself. How weird. I can fix it by going to sleep mode and waking the switch up, but it comes back.

You go to the window next to the Salmon Run place in the Town. Yeah, it was easy because you are new. It gets HARD. The biggest challenge in Salmon Run is getting good teammates.

This was my current set up. I have no idea how important the slots are tbh haha. I haven't tested anything. Just wanted to use the abilities that would help my playstyle

Hopefully I make it there. I mean admittedly it does feel easier climbing in this game compared to the first, but A was where I capped in Splatoon 1 @_@

That's the mode that will cause me to have an aneurysm. So many times where I inked up to the podium while spamming THIS WAY, only to see that the person with the rainmaker walked the opposite direction.
I'm sure the mode is ok once you're out of B+ or something. Not going to risk me having a stroke playing to get out of C though.
Actually I've only ran into it like.. 3 times, max. Didnt come up at all until I was in profreshional.

I personally didn't see the mothership until after I had gotten - and then lost - Profreshional. First match back in Overachiever, there was it was... And not one of us knew what to do lol.
Most people seem to know in Profreshional, though, I'll admit. But it is possible to get there without seeing one.
Understandable. While it's probably overall better that League doesn't affect your rank like Squad did in Splatoon 1, I wish it did for situations like these.

It's amaaaaaazing.
There's so much cool art and other fun stuff in there (social media posts, comics, etc). I think I only got it for $20 from Amazon, but I would've easily been fine paying the full price for it.

Glad to get practice with experienced players, the brush finally kinda clicked for me today. It seems like it should be really sharky and rushdown but it has to be played kinda patiently with the bombs. Lots of movement traps, baits, splashing around, etc. The bombs feel really really important to that weapon... I think I have been playing brushes wrong the entire time. People are sleeping on the weapon, since Octobrush is so good.
Omg it's infuriating. God forbid you try to dunk the rainmaker yourself. Trying to break through a wall of guys while your teammates are in the middle inking turf
A mix of fun games and annoying games today, spread between Salmon Run and some GAF-turf. Favorite moment of the day probably came during a particularly hectic second wave of salmon where time was running out and we were still short of the quota, with like two teammates down already. Figuring we were already screwed, I decided to go for broke and dualie-attacked a Drizzler. Nabbed one of the eggs and made a mad dash through a messy ink-field and hit the basket right in the span between the screen flashing 1 second and the mission timing out in failure. The clutchest finish! We went on to clear the third wave too and although we didn't collect a ton over quota that game, it was super-tense and satisfying to pull off.
Then it was back to turf war where I tried out a bunch of stuff that didn't work very well. Still don't have any weapon that I actually like using on Moray Towers. Carbon roller hitbox continues to be a thing of mystery despite my love for the rest of the kit. I still can barely find any way to actually get anything really useful out of the baller special. I guess for now it's time to cut back on the experimenting and buckle down more of a focus onto the couple of weapons I already know I like.

Yeah the same book, it's bigger and it's hardcover though. I think there's a few extra pages of Splatoon 2 stuff that wasn't in the Japanese one.
Has Nintendo said yet when they're dropping this B- requirement to play with friends? Or allowing friends to play something non-ranked other than Turf War?
