I can't help but already be annoyed that there's no Damage Up in the game. My Tentatek just doesn't feel the same without it! But aside from minor things like that - this game is just a joyous experience.

Trust me, if you're enjoying playing the game - you're gonna have everything unlocked before you know it! Plus, you'll probably end up owning every single weapon and piece of gear in the game before too long - just as a side effect of playing the game a lot because you're enjoying it.

At least, that was my experience with Splatoon 1.

Ugh, I lost a few matches, but sometimes I get shitty teammates or one or two players never start playing. Its pretty frustrating when you score over 900 consistantly. The low point is when I scored 1300 plus, but my team had 0, 368 and 650...

You can take your weapon of choice into Single Player, so maybe try and beat it with a charger before you give up. It will help you practice with it.

This game is sooo good. Had to pull myself off at 2 am in the morning I'lll have to play with gaf next time. I spent today catching up and building my rank and getting back in the groove.

I'm having a blast and honestly surprised that I'm actually good at this game. I never played Splatoon on the WiiU too much because I didn't own a WiiU and only played on a friend's. I kind of assumed people would be way better than me, at least initially. But I'm level 9 now and win or lose I'm consistently at the top of my team. It feels good to click with the game.

Well, you can use it in campaign, or you can go to the test range and practice on the dummies that move back and forth.

In the first splatoon I barely touched the splatter, never really got into it.

And now it's kind of a "have to" in salmon run and I still hate it...

The turret event in Salmon Run is great fun, but people fight over the turrets instead of grabbing those hordes of eggs.

Also, please don't be one of those people who kills a boss on the far end of the map and sits by the eggs spamming "This way!" for thirty seconds. There are three bosses and a dozen eggs between us and you. Make yourself useful and get back here.

You can do single player, recon in the actual arenas, or use the practice area for your weapons. That's 3 options right there.

Been playing on and off all day. Finally for once Gamestop didn't turn me away when I told them "no, in fact I did not preorder."

Has anyone noticed in the lobby when waiting for players you can play with the sound effects? Almost like a sampler-pad of sorts. Nice they added that, though I do miss that old squid jump game...
