I finished the SP. The last boss was hype. I'll have to go back and 100% it at some point but now is finally multiplayer time.

You know, I hated the Wii U, and really didn't think I should but an Switch. I did, with Splatoon 2, and I gotta say what a bloody good game, I really like it a lot, plays so damn well; and the Switch itself is just a much better and more quality bit of kit. Very happy I bought one, also loving Street 2 Ultra and MK8 Deluxe.

Anyone else get major Ratchet and Clank vibes from the single player?

The combat in general feels like second-nature to me despite never playing Splatoon before. I just went straight into Ratchet mode and picked it up instantly.

Played a couple hours in handheld mode. No real issues here. Even played lying on my side on the couch for a bit. The camera does drift when tilted, but it didn't impede my gameplay.

I found turning the sensitivity up to nearly max in handheld mode helps a lot. I have it set to 4.5 right now and hit most angles without tilting the thing too much.

Probably going to pick this up after work today. Does the game still heavily skew towards gyro players? As much as I tried I never got used to them in the original game and always used pro controller. Am I going to spend my time getting destroyed by gyro players?!

That shit was brutal, late in the match I'd just wait at the spawning point of the other team and shot them whenever they tried to leave the protection shield. They were basically scrambling around in a corner at that point. lol

As much fun as this game is, its starting to get to me to continue to be on the losing team, yet outperforming all players on both teams.

This is just chance doing its thing. Only thing you can do is partner up with friends
