Yeah, just not really in Japan, where it's pretty much 99.9% Japanese people.

Probably going to pick this up after work today. Does the game still heavily skew towards gyro players? As much as I tried I never got used to them in the original game and always used pro controller. Am I going to spend my time getting destroyed by gyro players?!

But what now
Reclining further than that causes my inkling to look up into the sky by default, and no manner of pressing Y calibrates the controls to fix this. That's the way I like to play my switch.
This. Now I want those Arms joycons. Beautiful 🙀Those Joy-Con look so good!

You're pretty clearly sitting up in that picture.
Try actually lying down and calibrating the motion controls. I turned motion of anyway, but it was one of the first things I noticed when I tried to play in bed on launch day with motion.
Edit : side topic. Are you really disadvantaged by not using motion ? I can't do it at all.
I'm bothered by handheld mode it seems recentering the camera always end up looking too high for my taste
I cannot do the Charger level on world 4 whatsoeverThe final section on the moving platform is awful.
Ok I'm going to throw the switch against the wall.
I'm doing Octozepplin Invasion in the campaign and I'm right at the end of the level and it's frustrating as fuck.
Anyone done the level know what I'm talking about? You need good timing to reach the end and I just can't do it.
Fucking hate the charger, and fucking hate this level. It's making me wish I had bought physical just so I can trade this damn game in lol
The amiibo's skin color in the game is nowhere near as dark as his actual amiibo. That's what I'm pointing out.
I had to play handheld mode because i kept getting disconnects whilst playing upstairs.
Have to say i'm not much of a fan. I don't really have a problem with the camera, but it feels so stiff compared to using the joy cons. The motion controls are quite sensitive, but it feels as though i have to make bigger gestures to get the same result using handheld.
There are separate sensitivity settings for handheld mode, maybe try to mess with that a bit

But there's no sensitivity for motion itself, only the axis on the left joycon when you enable motion.

I cannot believe they still don't let you use both the right stick and gyro for all controls. It's either no up and down movement with the stick or not gyro at all. I still get a weird and annoyed feeling when I try to aim left and slightly up/down with the stick in gyro mode. It's driving me insane. I feel at a huge disadvantage when I'm not using the gyro and I love the motion controls but it's such a weird thing to not let us do.But there's no sensitivity for motion itself, only the axis on the left joycon when you enable motion.
I use the switch purely as a handheld and am yet another one that can't get used to the motion.
It feels really bad, if I didn't know any better I'd have said the switch motion controls were shit, but then you play Breath of the Wild and motion feels beautiful when playing handheld.
Why can't it feel the same as that game![]()
The only disappointment that I have regarding Splatoon 2 is the music. My sons are (still) playing S1 and the music is way funkier.
Anyone else get this?

My internet isn't 'busted' it's just the switch wifi is.
Amiibo question: Do you get gear when scanning the Callie & Marie Amiibos from Splatoon 1? And can you snap pics with them too? That would be weird considering the backstory in 2.
Oh really? My bad then
Maybe someday they'll add options in a patch but I wouldn't count on it

So I genuinely just came in this thread to lament the lack of Inkbrush and my grind to the octo equivalent taking too long...
AND HOLY FUCK YEEEEEESSSSS!
The fact you lost by only .1% with three people is pretty awesome.
How does this work? Are there level restrictions on DLC weapons? Do I get them free? I assume I have to get them through the gun shop?
We were so close to winning as well. My super activated just as the clock hit zero second. One more second was all we needed for me to get a shot off.
I'm enjoying it a lot. Still don't have a clue how to get food tokens though.

But the Switch has fantastic wifi.Anyone else get this?

If it's anything like the first game they'll pop up in the gun shop for a price, no level restrictions as far as I remember.
Am I the only one experiencing latency issues with the Pro Controller in online mode? Many times buttons don't register, or the character continues moving after having let go of the analogue stick.
I even moved my phone away from the table. Wired controller has no problems.
Being able to play a game like this using the train wifi is why I love my Switch so much
A couple of questions: what are the tokens you get as first reward on Salmon Run? And regarding clothing abilities, how do you unlock the third and fourth slot?
