Lmao twice i had the enemy team fighting with us in the midle of the map while one of our guys gest the rainmaker and sneaks into the enemy base for a ko win

Its like they dont even check the score or the map

Been finding Rainmaker to be both the easiest and hardest mode to try to carry your team. Some games, the other team gets stuck in the corner and can't get it out of there. Some games, it feels like your team is throwing on purpose. :(

I don't mind the 2 hour map rotation but I would like it if they gave me the maps more evenly. Why do I keep getting going Moray Towers.

WHY DON'T YOU GET THE RAINMAKER OUT OF OUR BASE WHEN IT'S SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH.

Some of these teams are ridiculous. Like don't they try and protect the Rainmaker holder clearly asking for assistance and instead they're doing their own thing. Why are you even at the final pedestal protecting it when it doesn't need protecting?!

Rainmaker is easily the most rewarding mode to get to B- in. At least it runs the self-destruct countdown faster when you're going the wrong way.

Rainmaker is my favorite mode but I am struggling to get through C. Doesn't help whenever I'm online it seems to be Splat Zones or Tower Control >:(

Which mission?

I'm on the final zone and haven't touched motion controls for the single player.
Nope, just one of the stupid design decisions this game is plagued with.

What valid reason is there for not being able to adjust sensitivity etc in single player lol

The core gameplay is amazing but the game is full of little bullshit things that are nothing but annoying.

Out of curiosity is it the level with moving platforms in the second world? If it is I know the one you mean, that part at the end is designed to break controllers....

Yep, it's this mission. First time I told a Nintendo game to fuck off in a long time I think. lol
It would be easy enough in a normal FPS/TPS, but the default deadzone sensitivity is terrible and there is a part where you need to snipe three things quickly, which is basically impossible without motion controls or high sensitivity.

I had to switch (herpherp) to TV mode and play with the joycon motion controls to beat that level... I'm also convinced I'll never use the sniper rifle in this game. lol

Got a couple of complaints.

- Not being able to use the right stick for Y-axis control with motion on. I feel like the sticks should be your way of getting your aim in the general direction and the motion control should be your way of finetuning it.

- Salmon Run being a scheduled thing is just unfathomably stupid.

- Please make this soundtrack available for purchase, Nintendo.

Out of all the new maps, the only one I don't really care for is the Art Academy. Just feels completely bland to me.

I hope some of the older stages come back too after getting reworked (Kelp Dome, for one)

Second Hero Weapon complete, first actual weapon (the Brella isn't out yet). It's the exact same as the Splat Roller, same abilities and everything. Not sure why I expected something different, considering that's how the Hero Weapons worked in the first one lol.

One of my favorite things to do in rainmaker is when you have it and all of your teammates are just... gone somehow and you know you're about to die because you've got 2-3 people firing at you is just firing a shot right where you're standing, 9 times outta 10 you get 1-2 kills, in the C ranks at least.

After a weekend with the game I'm starting to get addicted. I missed out on the first and I've been engrossed in team shooters like OW and R6:S the past 18 months or so and Splatoon has definitely scratched that itch. I'm still ass at motion control aiming though. Its like when I engage another player I forget that I can tilt up and down and I just fight the controls. It doesn't feel natural for me yet.

So is spawn camping in ranked just something you kind of have to deal with? Had a couple of enemy teams just rush our spawn with dualiss recently and then we're trapped and fucked

Sorry for asking something so stupid, but when you unlock a weapon to buy in the shop it always has a sub weapon and power or w/e it's called. Are these set in stone? Is it possible to have, say the dualies with a different subweapon and power?

Trapping the enemy in their base = instant victory. That being said, you have the high ground advantage near your base so it should be posible to break out.

The funs are all set, but there is at least one other dualy with different sub and power.

It seems like the amount of turf you need to control to neutralize the splat zone is more than it used to be. Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems like it's 55% control rather than 50%. It might just be the way the new UI thing looks, but I swear I've failed to take the point at the end of a game where it looks exactly like 50%. It could be why more games seem to be going to KO than usual

Yes, but it's a separate weapon pack you buy in the shop, tied to ingame fashion brands

Just started playing online.

What is being ranked at the end of each match? The "p" thing? Last few games I've been at the top with the basic gun. lol

Just like Splatoon, I'm only decent w/ Rollers. Super fresh on it, while I'm completely dry on anything that requires any degree of aim ^.^' I do wish the special on the N-Zap 85 was the Splash down instead of the shield as this is the only gun I'm OK'ish with.

Still going through the single player. Only in the second area. Trying to get all the secrets before moving on to the next. I like it so far.

Surprisingly first switch game where the fan went off in handheld mode.

Also does anyone know how the splatnet2 thing works on the app? I downloaded the app and I see splatoon 2 icon but it just opens up to what looks like a commercial.

Use the Octobrush and dualie scrubs will never be a problem again.

You know the area immediately surrounding your spawn is shielded, right? Sometimes this can be enough protection to kill a couple of the other team and allow at least one of you to escape and then allow others to super-jump and flank those spawn camping fucks.

You have to play online for it to work.

At the end of a match in ranked, how does it do the rankings, or is there no real order to It? There have been multiple times I've had the highest splat count and protected the area, but it puts me at the bottom, don't really understand what it uses to order players at the end.

I gotta say that I really think the Aerospray MG is overpowered. It's like the power of a weapon doesn't matter, speed is king for whatever reason. I'm not even very good at the game, but I've consistently done better with it, and often been top of my team. Even if my team doesn't win, I have excelled on my team the most when I started using it, and I'm almost always seeing anyone else who was the top of the other team was also using the Aerospray MG.
