Today's Salmon Run weapon selection took some learning, but we've been winning pretty consistently for a while now. Egg count is kind of low, though.

Is it only me or Salamon Run's difficulty has been tuned down a bit ? Usually I get swarmed by +140℅ difficulty but now it seems alot more manageable.

I think it's going to be a pretty close battle for Europe. Mayo is much more popular here.

Is understanding the ability chunks feature difficult? I think I might need a guide because I feel like the game doesn't explain it well.

Fun Dualie thing I found out:
If you 'slide' your thumb to hit the Y button during a dash, the camera will immediately align with your dash direction. So long as you don't hit Y too quickly, it'll be almost perfectly aligned. Not sure what the applications are for it yet though.

Simply horrible. I was genuinely considering letting Marina replace Rosalina as my waifu after ten loving years, but ketchup I cannot forgive. I thought her canonical American inkarnation would spout half a squid brain, at the bare minimum.

it doubles the effect of any of its sub abilities so its really strong
also you can scrub the subs for really cheap so good for farming chunks
The range of the Jet combine with the agility of the Dualies....yes, that's going to get on my nerves.

The new Dualies pose pretty well.
Yea used to do this on splatoon with the seeker, very useful, and a good way to move up the maps quick.
3 of the weapons are kind of bad this time around.
Just lost 10 turf war games in a row and it's time to give up. I was number one on my team every single time, often times doubling the next person, and for some reason I'm paired with disconnectors and people who score < 300 per run every single game.
Why am I being matched with such crappy teammates? Am I playing this wrong? I'm only rank 9. Maybe this is just a problem in the lower ranks?
It just feels like they are trying to balance the game out with some crappy matchmaking algorithm, making getting out of these low ranks a chore.

I played a few rounds with them. They are overpowered. Nintendo needs to balance this game badly. They also need to stop penalizing people who lose 3 v 4 matches.
They need to fix their matchmaking as well. Too many matches are lopsided.

American ketchup tastes different to what we are used to in Australia.
Our equivalent is called tomato sauce - which is different to what is sold in cans in the US. It is closer to ketchup with a different taste.
So for me...
Tomato Sauce > Mayo > Ketchup

Is there any reason to run Splat Dualies when Squelchers are a thing now? Dualie Squelchers seems better overall in the few times I've used them.

I'd agree with you if the other team wasn't some MLG team with 3/4 having +2000 points on their runs a large percentage of the time.
I think they broke matchmaking heuristics with the last update.

Just started playing and every match ends with communication issues. The earlier test runs had no problems. Is this normal for the game?

Ya, quite possible. She was playing earlier and some of the players were quite high level, compared to her level 3
Finally finish single player mode.
The levels and the bosses are by a large margin much better than in the first one. Making me use different weapons for different levels is a nice implementation
However I will say that I enjoyed the final boss in splatoon 1 a bit more than in the sequel.
But overall it was great campaign.

I really liked how the fight was mixed with platforming progression in the first game, so I felt this was a slight step down just being a normal battle stage. Also Callie's presence in this game is lackluster. It would have been cooler if she had made more appearances during the singleplayer like a mid-boss or something. Heck, she could've been part communication during levels except she's constantly trash talking you.
But overall it was great campaign.
